It was my first time using Thumbtack - My wife and I decided to look for a personal trainer. After going thru some choices that were narrowed down to our liking, we shot off rate/quote request to about 5 personal trainers nearby. To start off, what I liked about Zak was that I got a call from him IMMEDIATELY. Showed that he was serious, so I took the call and had a brief discussion on what we were looking for. Moving on to first meeting.. First meeting was free and during that time, he really took the time to get to know our needs, strengths, study our posture and make corrective suggestions. After the session, prices were discussed and on we go. There you have it - Simple, no hassle or obligation to we were signed up for his training. For people who are looking for a personal trainer, I know this can be a virgin territory. It certainly was for us. Zak understood that and took us from the basics. He offers nutrition programs (which is included in the rate for training - Can't be that). Nutrition program is designed for each individual and not that one plan fits all. My workouts are far different from my wife's workout. He has tremendous knowledge in what he is doing and is a dedicated student in learning more himself. Very respectful and a humble individual he is. We get weighed in end of every week and progress is recorded. You can really tell that he cares for your goals and not like other trainer that I've heard horror stories about, who only care about the money. With Zak, you are not just his paycheck - he truly cares for the well being. Zak being a powerlifter, he has shared many tips on better posture, better workout, and muscle recovery remedies. It's unusual for me to write a review online for anything, but when I know that I'm working with the best and with a person who is honest and genuinely cares for people, the least I can do is to pay it forward and let everyone know about what Zak has to offer. If you are looking for a great personal trainer, who will push you to be your best, while educating on you on the reasons behind the exercises/nutrition choices, all while being an absolute joy to be around, then Ruby is your gal! She has the gift of being a challenger AND an encourager, all rolled into one! If you follow her instruction, which she has gained from years of personal experience and professional education, then I know you will reach your fitness goals, no matter what they may be! I couldn't recommend her any more highly!
Cody is the absolute best! He really pushes and challenges you, but is very supportive as well. I find myself really missing the sessions during breaks in training. NXT Rep Fitness is a great, do-work gym and feels like a small family.
I've used various personal trainers, in several different cities, for going on 10 years, and I've seen better results from Mindful Mule than any of them. I would definitely recommend MM to anyone looking to get in shape or take their routine to the next level.
Hiring Alton as a personal trainer is one of the best things I've ever done. Alton is a great motivator he makes each one of my training sessions challenging but rewarding. I would have no hesitation in recommending him as your personal trainer if you want to achieve your fitness and health goals.
Marvin is an excellent trainer. He listens to what your goals are and focuses the routines workouts around them. Also, Marvin has always been extremely flexible with workout times and changes. I would highly recommended him to anyone looking for a trainer no matter your fitness level!!!
Evan is such an amazing trainer and motivator. He is always energenic and passionate about his clients. He makes each work out efficient and difficult, but understands how hard he can push you. Evan brings so much knowledge about overall fitness to each session. I have been working out with Evan with personal sessions for three months now and I've seen fantastic results - both weight loss and body shaping. He is willing to mentor you through your journey no matter how difficult.
Starting to work out again at the age of 52, I was looking for someone who understood changes the body made over time. Danny is very knowledgeable regarding the human body and has the experience needed to give me specific and necessary instructions. He responded to my needs immediately and with genuine concern. Patty is great. She is very enthusiastic and has a great sense of humor when it comes to something most dread. You can definitely tell she truly loves what she is doing to help others achieve a lifestyle that helps you learn to love life again. I would and in fact have recommend her to all my friends. She started me at my fitness level, and I was able to perform each exercise she instructed me on. Can't wait until she is in my home again so that I can become stronger not only on the outside but inside as well.
Jamie was my trainer for many years. She is very professional. She was always prepared and frequently adjusted our workouts based on my current goals. After working with many personal trainers during the last 10+ years, I can confidently recommend her as an excellent personal trainer.
As a hopeful candidate to be a U.S. Army Special Forces operator, I was beyond impressed with the work that Liz did with me. She not only helped me achieve a superior level of fitness with HIIT training, she also trained me to be a superb swimmer so that I may excel in Combat Dive School (the same school Navy SEALs go through). Her knowledge of outstanding exercises combined with her high energy and motivating personality make her an excellent trainer. The only thing that could have improved my experience with her would have been to sign up for more sessions, but unfortunately I needed to report for the intense training that Liz had so adequately prepared me for.
Fitness training and diet planning. Deanna has done a great job planning and supervising workouts appropriate to our fitness level. She has also provided diet guidance based on our current eating patterns; not a wholesale change, just modifications that should be easy to implement and promote weight loss.
Jennifer has been an amazing trainer! As I am a fitness novice, she has been extremely knowledgeable and encouraging. She pushes me and holds me accountable, and actually makes me enjoy working out--which is no easy task. Jennifer makes creative workouts that are tailored to your needs and goals. I'll admit I was intimidated at first about hitting the gym, but she eased my concerns. She's brilliant at what she does and very personable along the way. I would have quit a long time ago without her!
Trey is a very good personal trainer, I really like that he is patient and really wants the best for you. He will push you to your limit to get results. I would highly recommend him.
Alix is an excellent trainer. Not only is he knowledgeable about fitness, he listens carefully to understand what your goals are and what limitations you may have, if any. I'm very serious about getting into shape. I asked Alix to push me hard to the point of complete exhaustion where I couldn't go any longer and now I'm seeing results! He will show no mercy but as the saying goes, "no pain, no gain." In the past I've had trainers that don't pay much attention to you, but not Alix. He monitors every movement you make to ensure you are doing the exercises correctly and not injure yourself. He not only trains you, he teaches you. He is also very friendly and easy to talk to. He will answer any questions you might have. I would highly recommend Alix as your personal trainer.
Joe is a great personal trainer, he's very professional and helpful. He can be tough at times, but its effective. He definitely helped me reach my fitness goals

Inner Strength Fitness is AMAZING. The trainers are encouraging and push you to do your best, and they help you make getting fit a life style change. I have had a few personal trainers in the past, but I've never had a trainer like Hanya before! She's very motivating to keep pushing you forward, and allows you to see that you can overcome any obstacle you have with hard work and determination. Ive been working out with Hanya little over a month and not only do I physically see the change, I've got the energy and motivation to keep moving forward. She's always ready to get things started when I arrive and if for some reason she's always able to work around it. I'd recommended anyone who is serious about getting healthy and in shape ( or better shape) to give Hanya a try! She has vast amounts of knowledge about how to work your body out as well as nutrition.
Jammie is great!! She is always positive, upbeat, and most on time. I love that she keeps in contact with me and tracks my progress. If you are considering a personal trainer in my experience there are none better than Jammie at Team Shredz Training.
