Six months ago I downsized my living space considerably and was in desperate need to organize my now tiny closet. I still had clothes and shoes everywhere. I needed help and found Clean Slate. Sue called me back nearly immediately after my inquiry and fit me into her schedule this week. Sue is amazing! She came in prepared and we talked and worked through the process together. Sue is an absolute magician! I had a huge master closet bursting at the seams with so many clothes/handbags/dresses/shoes, I couldn’t even see or remember half of what I had in my closet to wear. It wasn’t functional whatsoever and had gotten to the point where it was just SO overwhelming because I didn’t know where to even start and it felt too daunting to even deal with.
Sue came in with calm confidence, immediately putting my mind at ease that this was DOABLE. And could be done really well. I didn’t have the vision, but SHE did, and I am so glad I trusted her to revamp my space. It is unrecognizably beautiful now! The before and after pics don’t even do it full justice. Before I hired Sue, walking into my closet was an immediate stressor; it now brings me joy!
Sue is also very good about listening to your specific preferences and making sure to integrate those details into her organizing purchase selections as needed and also customizes how she executes on the plan for your space. She is flexible to spend a little more or less depending on your budget, and will make it work for your specific situation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our fees are straightforward. We offer a half-hour complimentary virtual consultation and charge $60/hour thereafter. We also offer the service of removing items for donation. Typically, when we purchase products for a project, a deposit is required.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a complimentary, half-hour virtual consultation. At this time, the client and I will look at and discuss the space (via pictures/video), their needs and their vision for the space. I will offer suggestions for the space and possible items to be purchased. We will determine a mutual time when the project can be started and an estimate on how long it will take.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My college degree was acquired from Indiana State University. I have over 5 years of hands-on experience with many types of organizing and decorating situations. Reading numerous books on the subject has also helped me a great deal.
