Lucy is a friendly and patient teacher! I had absolutely no music experience prior to our lessons but that didn't bother her one bit! She is always so encouraging. I look forward to my piano lessons every week!

I had a 45 minute piano lesson with Ryan. He was extremely professional and also made me feel very comfortable asking questions. He had a very easy manner and did not intimidate me. I will definitely have more lessons with him and recommend him to my friends as well. FANTASTIC!!

I have been taking my two daughters to JC's studio for about 10 months now. They sing, play piano and write music. They absolutely love going every week. I would recommend JC because he is a positive influence to my kids and very skilled in music.

Well, there is so much I have to say about this guy! Jeff Marzolla is such a great teacher! Not only is he a teacher, but also a mentor a friend and someone who I personally look up to. During the time that he had taught me to play piano, he was very patient and helpful. He explained what things are and why we do them very clearly and easy to understand. I do not have any thing bad to say about this man. If it wasn't for him I would have never found my passion for piano.

I have been taking beginner adult piano lessons with Meryl for nearly 10 months and couldn't be happier. Meryl is a professional pianist with decades of experience and still performs with her group White Oak Trio. She is capable of playing the most difficult classical music, much of which she has played for me by memory. As a teacher Meryl is very kind, funny, patient, and intelligent. Every lesson is worth while and full of personalized advise. I am very pleased with the progress we have made. I highly recommend Meryl Ettelson and believe that she is the best choice for a piano teacher, whether it be for a young child just starting or an experienced player looking for a serious teacher.

Ed was so clear and patient with all my questions. He was very well organized, knew exactly what he wanted to say, and took time to make sure I was following along. I would not hesitate one moment before recommending him as a great place to start or continue your piano lessons.

Josh is by far the best teacher I've ever had for learning piano and I've been getting lessons around the Houston area for close to six years now. Highly recommend to anyone of any experience level.

Mr. Corb has years of experience performing & teaching...& conveniently came to my home. He was kind, patient, & focused while introducing my beginners (aged 6 & 9) to the piano. They both enjoyed their lesson & I was impressed to see the progress made in only 30 minutes. We look forward to continuing lessons with Mr. Corb.

Over the last 10 months I have been taking weekly piano lessons at the Vanover Music Academy in Houston with Dr. Krume Andreevski. My teacher is a highly educated talented pianist with real-life teaching experience while actively involved in performing musical activities. As an adult student I enjoy learning piano in a very casual, relaxed atmosphere. However, I very much appreciate that Krume’s teaching attitude provides strong discipline and professionalism. Friendly, approachable, organized, enthusiastic and very articulate Krume cares deeply about improving his piano teaching practices. He shows great flexibility to best accommodate each student’s unique skills, abilities, goals and needs. I do my scales, arpeggios, chords, Hanons and piano course exercises but at the same time my teacher insists on me playing Schuman (for now) because the ultimate goal of learning piano is making music. With exemplary stage presence and charisma, Krume has a special gift to connecting with his audience and always gets a great emotional response from his public. Joyfully alive, skillfully delectable, honest and filled with heartfelt emotion, his piano playing is always inspiring. I strongly recommend Mr. Krume Andreevski for students of all skill levels and ages who understand that learning the piano is a serious commitment. To achieve piano playing mastery you need the best quality teaching.

I promised myself that I would take piano lessons when I could finally find time to fit it in. And I am so glad I did. Douglas Loomis is an excellent teacher. I have been studying for a little more than 3 years now (I am an adult) and I have grown by leaps and bounds. Douglas is a very caring teacher. But he also insists on students learning to play musically and with the correct technique. Douglas communicates and demonstrates musical concepts so that students can grasp the ideas and incorporate them into their playing. He wants his students to feel successful in playing and performing. He is outstanding! Maggie Hubbard

She is so helpful and knew right from the start how to customize my lessons to best fit where I currently am in skills and technique. She responds to what I want to learn while still teaching a great foundation with hand position, rhythm, and music theory. She gives me great mental tricks to remind myself of important parts for my finger and wrist movements. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn at any skill level!

My son started lessons with Starla in the 6th grade. He enjoys each lesson and comes away with more knowledge and excitement about music. Starla has been a great supporter of Nathan as her student and also as a person. He is playing beautifully and we are so proud and happy with his progress. We consider Starla a friend as well as a piano instructor.
