I want to start by saying that they did a great job, were here at expected time and worked quickly and efficiently. I am only giving 3 stars because of the cost. 100% my fault, I should have researched more. The actual vent cleaning was in line: $399 for the cleaning.... we hadn't had it done in 17 years so heavy lint build up. According to what I found online the prices have a large range: Typical Cost Ranges: Basic Cleaning: Expect to pay $100-$175 for a standard cleaning of a dryer vent. Complex Cleaning: For vents with bird nests or heavy lint buildup, the cost can increase to $150-$400 or more. Roof Vents: If the vent is on the roof, expect to pay $150-$300 or more, according to HomeGuide. Where I do feel taken advantage of was they suggested replacing the Dryer Vent cover and charged $350 for that. At Lowes they run $6-$40. Granted they said it was a 5 year warenty.... but my old one lasted 17 years.... so??? Again my fault but buyer beware.
