- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do a walk thru of the property. I will provide the client with a full report on suggested items to fix, change or repair through out the house, from the perspective of a potential buyer. We will determine which rooms would be ideal to stage and move to the contract phase. I generally need 3-5 days to finish a stage job. I also require 5 business days notice to destage a Home. My price will include furniture rental for vacant homes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve decorated convention space and stages, as part of my professional career for the last 20 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My partner and I sold three rental properties in the last two years. After many months on the market, we learned the hard way the importance of proper home staging and professional pictures on your MLS listing. Once we got on board and did our homework, out Home sold quickly and for top dollar. In doing so, we learned that this was something we were good at and wanted to share our knowledge and skills with others who may require it.
