- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe that every pantry should be as unique as the person using it, so I start with a personalized approach. Here’s how I work with new clients: Initial Consultation: We start with a 30-minute discovery call (virtual or in person) to discuss your goals, challenges, and vision for your pantry. I’ll ask questions to understand your lifestyle, dietary preferences, and any specific needs (like family-friendly or wellness-focused setups). Assessment and Planning: I’ll review your current pantry setup (you can send photos or videos if virtual). Based on our conversation, I’ll create a customized plan outlining the steps, suggested organization methods, and healthy food swaps. Pantry Makeover: During the session, we’ll declutter, categorize, and rearrange your pantry using my “5 Zone” Method. I’ll provide guidance on healthy food substitutions and suggest products that align with your nutrition goals. Final Touches and Tips: I’ll add finishing touches like labels and storage solutions. You’ll receive a maintenance guide and tips on how to keep your pantry organized long-term. Follow-Up: A week after the makeover, I’ll check in to see how the system is working for you and offer any adjustments or additional tips if needed. My goal is to not only give you a beautifully organized pantry but also to help you maintain it effortlessly while supporting your health and wellness journey.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Nutrition with an emphasis in Dietetics from Texas Woman’s University, where I gained a solid foundation in nutrition science, meal planning, and food safety. With over 10 years of experience working in the field of nutrition, I’ve held positions such as Nutrition Specialist with Dallas ISD, where I developed meal programs and educated families on making healthier food choices. Additionally, I’ve worked with organizations like the YMCA and Baylor Scott & White, providing hands-on nutrition education to diverse communities. I also worked at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) on nutrition programs. My training goes beyond traditional organizing. I blend nutrition knowledge with practical pantry styling, helping clients not only declutter but also make healthier food swaps and create systems that support long-term wellness. This unique combination of nutrition expertise and organizational skills ensures that my clients receive more than just an organized pantry—they gain a space that supports healthier living.
