Jessica has been helping me with my Mastiff for 6 years. He has severe anxiety and needs to be checked on a regular basis while I'm at work. She worked with my budget, was always on time and walked him at 2 am and 5 am dusing a month long split shift work schedule I had. We were SO devastated when she moved to New Mexico. She is also an amazing housekeeper. She's just all in one package.

I adore and care for all animals. I have over 10 years of experience with cats, dogs and birds. Please give me a chance to prove myself to you and your pets. You won't be sorry. I have references on request.

I offer dog, pet and house sitting mostly on the west side of El Paso and Upper Valley. Dogs and cats like me, but I can help with most pets.

Both my husband and I enjoy working with all animals and I have 3 cats and 2 puppies of my own. We make sure that they are well fed with the best quality food and despite our busy life in the Army, we are sure to spend time lots with them. We are also super flexible with time and money so don't be afraid to ask us!!!

**I send immediate texts as I am visiting your pets. Send some nice pictures and little updates. I'm sure you'll love seeing your dogs out on a walk or your cats playing with a toy, etc. **I like to connect with my clients every now and then by sending an email or text and thanking you for choosing me to care for your furr babies. **I enjoy and appreciate any feedback I can get from my clients. When I’m checking on a pet for the first time, I make sure to call/text the pet owner to tell them everything is going OK. Then, once the client has returned from their trip, I make sure to follow up with an additional phone call/email/text after a few days. **I always thank my clients for choosing me. I know you may have had a lot of options to choose from. **I ask if my pet sitting services met their expectations. **I ask what I could do to make their pets more comfortable next time.

We love all fur babies. When they are with us, you will have a peace of mind that we are loving them, too! We can watch your pets during your weekend, overnight, or long vacation getaways! We have a fenced backyard; we do not tie the dogs up. If you are doing crate training, that's fine. Please provide your own! We will make sure that your furry friend gets the same diet and exercise they get at home.

I can take care of any kind of pet and do what is necessary for the pet. For example for dogs, I can bath them, walk them and what I get instructed from the owner to do.

Since I Love All Animals, it really shows the way the Animals come up to me & lick me & Want Lovins in return.

Well I have more passion then anything I just love what I do for people you gotta show love and passion in all what you do are you got nothing I'm that kind of person that gets the job done and you won't regret hiring me I promise you

I will come to your house and stay with your dogs overnight. I can give medications, walk your dogs, play with them, and feed them.

I have taken care of many animals such as cats, reptiles and mainly, dogs. My duties include walking, bathing and feeding neighborhood pets during work hours. I also volunteered at an animal hospital assisting the veterinarian with animal care and preparation for examinations, monitoring animals for changes in behavior after exams or surgery and maintaining cleanliness of animal-holding areas.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much should you pay for a pet sitter?

Pet sitting provides your precious pet with in-home care. A pet-sitter can make a brief visit during the day to provide snacks, playtime or affection, or stay at your house for one or more nights to tend to your pet. Prices for pet-sitting will vary based on length of the visit. Nationally, pet sitting prices range from $20 to $30, although prices run higher for your sitter to stay the night. Prices will also be affected by where you live in the country. Here are some examples of average pet-sitting prices based on length of time and region:

  • 30-minute visit: $17 in a small Texas town.
  • 30-minute visit: $25 in Southern California.
    • 45-minute visit: $28.
    • 60-minute visit: $32.
  • Overnight stay (10 hours): $50 in Texas.
  • Overnight stay (10 hours): $85 in Southern California.
    • 12 hours: $100.
    • 24 hours: $200. This is a good option for a sick, elderly or brand-new pet that needs constant supervision.

How much does it cost to hire a house sitter?

House-sitting can be a lifesaver when you’re leaving town for any length of time. Whether you work remotely, you’re taking a much-needed vacation, or you just want to road-trip for a few days, it’s wise to have a pro keep an eye on your house and pets while you’re gone. Your home is more likely to stay safe and you won’t have to wrangle the kitty into a kennel to travel with you. The national average pet-sitting price ranges between $20 and $30. Pet-sitting and house-sitting costs will vary based on where you live in the country and regional labor rates. Another factor in cost is how long you want the house-sitter to stay. Some people prefer to have the house-sitter stay the night at their house, perhaps to care for an elderly pet or simply to keep a watchful eye on the home at all times. Overnight stays will cost more, ranging anywhere from $50 to $100, depending on services provided. For day visits, house-sitting and pet-sitting prices will increase incrementally the longer the visit and the more service you want performed. For example, a quick 10-minute visit to feed and walk the pet and bring in the mail could be $12.50, a 25-minute visit could be $18, a 40-minute visit $25, and a 50-minute visit $32.
