I was having my furnace replaced and the installing technician was unable to get power to the unit. The technician said I needed to have the breaker replaced and to call an electrician. Johnny responded to my thumbtack request within a few minutes and was on site within an hour. Johnny pulled the panel cover off the breaker box and used a meter to verify that the breaker did indeed have power and was not the cause of the failure. Johnny asked if he could look at the furnace and within a few minutes found that the heating technician forgot to reset the "dead man switch" set to off. Once that problem was resolved the furnace started working. Bear in mind Johnny didn't have to take that extra step so a big thank you to him for that. My circuit breaker box was showing signs of age (see picture) and I asked Johnny to give me a quote to replace the box and all breakers. His price was fair and he estimated a 2 to 3 hour time to replace everything. Its now been at least a week and I've had zero electrical issues. Johnny has a strong understanding of all things electrical and is very customer focused. He took the time to explain things using laymen terms and want to make sure I was satisfied with their work before leaving the premises. I highly recommend him and will be using his services again. He's the very definition of a pro.
He was great for a small job and explaining things we did not know about our heater but he was definitely money hungry and not incredibly personable. His $25 fee for coming out was great but as we were writing him a check he said it would be $50. My husband asked where the extra $25 came from because he didn't actually repair anything (he just turned on a gas pipe and explained stuff to my husband) and he said something but we couldn't really understand him very well.
David did a great job and got it done fast. Definitely would recommend him to anyone. Thanks David for your service.
Roy was awesome. His price was very competitive and he was thorough during the process. We got a new furnace and coil to match the compressor outside. The system is working very well now and we'll definitely have him back out to continue service in the future.
Jorge Mondragon was very prompt and did an excellent job replacing my old heater furnace with a newer one. He explained me very well the details and specifics about why I would need a 3.5 ton furnace with the specific BTU given the square footage of my house. I would highly recommend him as he is a sound professional and very prompt in his service.
I needed a new furnace and duct cleaning. I contacted The Right Choice Heating and Air. They gave a great price and the install crew did an outstanding job. They completed the work in a timely manner. Thanks guys !
This guy was perfect. We had water leaking under the kitchen faucet plumbing and we were expecting him to tell us about replacing the whole plumbing etc etc. we had those bad experiences before. But Aaron came and fixed it for 30$ and we were surprised by it. Thanks Aaron.
Jonathan was quick, professional and reasonably priced. He installed three faucets for us (after granite was installed and sinks undermounted) and reconnected our gas stove top. Would recommend him for any handy work you need done!
Jim did a great job. His price was $1300 cheaper on replacing both the attic and outside units (everything new). What I liked about him is that he was not pushing services. Although, he assessed and pointed it out everything that needed to be fixed, at the same time, he was sharing how I could do the work myself if I wanted to save the money. I really liked that. Final work was a Trane- 4 Ton, 14 Seer Heat-Pump System with 1year warranty on labor and the 10 year parts from the Trane. It works great so far. I had a 2.5 ton old ac that even when it worked well would take hours to cool down the house. No kidding, now it cools the house from 76 to 72 in 15 minutes. After using thumbtack for a while, I realized that there are good workers that will do the job for a lot cheaper. You just need to be patient and do the estimates with all the contractors that send you messages. Oh, and please, rely on the reviews. I would definably recommend 911 AC/services !!! Great job Jim!

Cordon Shaw arrived within an hour of being called. He checked the 25,000 btu window unit stating that the trouble appeared to be the blower motor. At that time a bid of $350. 00 to remove unit take it to his shop, replace motor and service unit and return and reinstall. ( reasonable price ) Upon return Gordon stated that process had gone quicker than expected. He cut $50.00 off bid. Can't beat that. I'll give a follow-up after running unit for a spell.
I was extremely impressed with selecting Mr. Orlando Ortiz, D & D All Services to install a new furnace in my home. I could not have made a better choice, as I feel I received the complete package - courteous, friendly, on time, professionalism and product knowledge. Mr. Ortiz cleaned the furnace area and installed new thermostat wiring in attic at no cost. I would not hesitate to recommend D & D services to my friends.

We hired Chris to figure out an electrical issue in our home but did not realize he did "Everything". He Arrived on time as promised. He fixed are electrical problem for under $40. We then hired Chris to do a bunch of punch items before we sold our home. He helped us find a good realtor, mover, house cleaner and installed new hardwood floors, carpet, and replaced some rotten wood on the exterior and painted a few rooms. We did what the realtor said which is basically what Chris had recommended, and our house sold within 3 days and we got top dollar. Thank You Chris! Hope we can find a Chris in Lubbock? Chris is a very honest and great resource for whatever you need in your home.
Martin was very easy to reach and finished the job the same week. As he was completing the project he made recommendations on other items that need it to be replaced which he gladly took care of. What I would like to see going forward is written estimate of labor and parts for future repairs, as there was some confusion when he came back. Other than that, I would more than likely use Martin again as he did do a great job.
