Micah is a terrific tutor - patient, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and challenging. In just a few months, my reading comprehension, conversation, and vocabulary are remarkably better. I would recommend Micah to anyone - regardless of their current fluency.

My son struggled with reading comprehension for the bulk of his 7th grade school year. When I reached out to Club Z, they created an education plan for us and matched us with Emily who had taught middle school reading and writing for 10+ years. Not only did Emily find creative ways to teach my son in a way that he really understood, she was friendly and we would look forward to our sessions with her!! Would recommend Club Z to anyone looking for thorough tutoring!

I have worked with Pam now for over 3 months. She is teaching me Spanish comprehension, grammar, and fluency. She is very knowledgeable and brings lots of materials to class for us to use. My Spanish has greatly improved thanks to Pam! She has also shared her love of Spanish with my young son. She is a great teacher and I highly recommend taking her classes! Kelly M.

Ms. Monica is amazing with both of my kids one is 3 and the other is almost 5....she's extremely patient and teaches with a unique flair with different types of games and engages the kids in a manner which I haven't seen any other tutor do. She focuses on phonics and my daughter is on the verge of reading with lessons with Miss Monica! Highly recommend her!

Marizta has never disappointed me when it came to reviewing my essays and showing me how to advance my writing skills. She screens essays in detail and provides a sincere feedback about them. This method helped me to know where my writing skills were situated so that I can improve them in the future. She was always able to fit me in her tight schedule in order for me to submit on time a good proofread essay, outstanding scholarship essay, or statement of purpose for graduate school. Honestly speaking, I don’t know how I could have pulled well written essays without her assistance. I am currently a graduate student at Virginia Tech, and part of it was made possible through her assistance to edit and organize my statement of purpose in order to apply for Graduate School at Virginia Tech. I absolutely recommend her to people seeking help in proofreading and editing their essays.

I would like to endorse Ms. Raiza Guevara Pasarella, Bilingual Professor, who helped me improve my communicational skills in English. I am fully satisfied with the Teaching service she provided me with. It included lessons and activities I near-real as well as real situations. She was very dedicated in helping me and giving me materials to practice at home. I was always looking to meeting her for my conversational and reading-writing classes. I recommend her as an excellent teacher!!

Planting Seeds Tutoring & Test Prep has been nothing short of amazing! From the beginning, they have provided insightful feedback to help with my children's learning disabilities (one child has dysgraphia and the other child has dyslexia and ADD). Throughout this summer, my children have improved tremendously in Math & Reading! I am excited to see how well they will be prepared in the upcoming school year! I would highly recommend this company!

With the focus on Science and Technology these days, we were looking to supplement the English/Reading/Writing curriculum for our Grade 6 daughter. We hired Mr. Crook because of his background and professionalism. He has been on time and has personalized the curriculum to my daughters needs, which is what we wanted! We have noticed she is learning different ways of absorbing and understanding her readings and has been increasing her vocabulary through the readings / articles that Mr. Crook assigns to her. We look forward to having many more lessons and seeing our daughter enhance her knowledge in the English area. Shaina

My son receives reading lessons from Mrs. Susan twice a week at my local library for the past 5 months. Since then Matthew's grades have improved tremendously at school and has confidence to read in front of others. The only thing that could have been better is if I would have found Mrs. Susan sooner! Thank you.

      About

I've been teaching and tutoring varying and various subjects for well over a decade. My Reading and Writing students routinely perform at grade levels at least four to five years above their expected placement and often well above that. I also work with students every year to take part in their school spelling bees on every level. My baccalaureate degrees are in Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, and Voice Performance, so while I have more actual student tutoring hours in the liberal arts (I also worked for many years at UTA's Writing Center as a tutor), I have also spent many hours tutoring fellow students in nearly every science (save geology, perhaps) at every level, collegiate to elementary school. I can teach the fundamentals of piano, everything but the most complicated music theory and ear training, most percussion instruments and some flute.

      About

I tutor in French, Spanish, English, ESL, writing, reading comprehension, and typing. I have several years of professional experience, tutoring for adults and doing fun, activity-oriented tutoring for children. The pay and hours are flexible. I can provide references.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
