Cathy was incredible. I was so impressed by her attention to detail and knowledge of the business. She helped me find vendors and kept up with them to make sure everything was on track. She met with me every time I came into town to go over things and keep me organized. Cathy offered very helpful suggestions that I wouldn't have thought of. After planning out my daughter's wedding down to almost every detail, we decided a few weeks before the wedding that it might be a good idea to get assistance on the day of the wedding to keep everything running smoothly. We met with Cathy and her son, Josh, to discuss our plans, and were immediately impressed with Cathy's knowledge and "can do" attitude. There were several things that Cathy mentioned that we had not even thought about, and my daughter and I left our meeting feeling so relieved that we decided to get Cathy's help. Cathy went above and beyond, not just on the day of the wedding, but in the weeks before. She even shopped around for our rehearsal dinner, and did some price comparisons on beer and wine for the wedding to make sure that we were getting the best prices from our vendor. Cathy stayed in constant contact with all of our vendors prior to the wedding as well as on the day of the wedding to ensure that everything was in place as planned. We had numerous issues with our florist prior to and on the day of the wedding, and Cathy was right there to straighten everything out. She even made a trip to the florist on the day of the wedding because the boutonnieres and corsages were not right. She made sure that new ones were made, and she even delivered them herself! We decided to have a wedding and contacted Cathy on June 29 and we walked down The Isle on August 1st!!! Everything was Perfect. We can't imagine how it could have been better even with more time to prepare! All of her planning with the Venue, DJ, Floriest (The Stalk Market) and photographer (ginaephotography) were the best ever!!! So very impressed with Cathy's great Abilities. We worried about nothing. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?The pricing is not complicated - invitations are completely dependent on vendor choice, and print type - if you add layers or ribbons or other specialty items and can range from $1 an invitation to $100 an invitation - it is all in what you want. Events are the same - they all are about what you want to spend, and we can make them happen on any budget. Venue choice can impact the cost, food choices can impact the cost - you can't just say $5 and be done - we can work with any budget and will be very honest on what we can and can't do with what you have to spend. For dance we offer per hour pricing as well as packages that work for those looking for more training or choreography. .
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?With dance we have meetings and understand timeline and what results they want to accomplish . We understand their song choices or help with that and then build on their strengths and vision. For events we take a similar approach, understanding their budget and vision and how we can bring them together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Of course, in any profession you should be learning everyday! We have been in the event planning industry for 20 years and decorating as well as just day of coordination. In dance Josh is professionally trained and dances Master level on the country competition floor, as well as highest levels of ballroom, swing, theater and more.
