I found Katie and hired her to teach a private yoga class for my friend's Bachelorette Party. She was easy to work with from the get-go, and her price was extremely reasonable and fair. Katie is incredibly kind and interactive, and worked with us to ensure she built the class and picked music around the type of yoga we wanted to do. Because we were staying in a hotel, she also helped guide me to ask the right questions in terms of securing a space for our class at the hotel. The morning of our class, a few of the girls were a bit "worn down" from the weekend's activities so Katie worked with us/the Bride to adjust the class content accordingly to ensure everyone could participate and be comfortable - all were very happy! We really enjoyed the class... in this particular case, the participants spanned a variety of skill levels from beginner to advanced so we kept it simple/beginner level and did deep stretching, vinyasas and a little bit of muscle building. Katie also started our class off with essential oils which everyone loved... the whole affair was a delight! All of the girls were so happy with the class (especially the Bride) and we would absolutely use Katie again if we are ever back in Austin!
Ralph was a big help getting my MS exercises in place! The exercises he had me do were a combination of Yoga, Pilates, and Meditation! He took considerable time to access my needs and he helped me put a program in place that met my needs!
I could tell that Mica really focused on making her students feel welcome. She paid attention to every single individual and adjusted to everyone's needs accordingly. Her teaching style is very thorough and detail-oriented, yet light-hearted and conversational. You feel empowered and focused during her class, yet still feel like it's okay to laugh and be yourself. She spreads great messages that everyone can relate to and never forgets to incorporate them through out the class and the poses. Mica teaches an AWESOME beginner's class with a couple advanced poses sprinkled in. She also never forgets to ask for feedback from her students and I can tell she is growing with each opportunity, which makes an amazing yoga instructor. I could go on forever :) Take Mica's yoga classes - she won't disappoint!!!
Aimee truly embraces the complete mind/body wellness mindset; she does individual and group yoga instruction with those who are beginners to the yoga practice or are more experienced yoga enthusiastes. Aimee is also a former collegiate athlete who over came injuries and is available for fitness coaching as well. She focuses on motivating her students to use heart/soul and spirit intuition to grow stronger minds and bodies.
Jamie teaches yoga from her heart and soul. She has a genuine personality and is able to create classes that are accessible for all yogis despite their yoga experiences. Her cues and sequencing give me the space to feel safe and her themes and life lessons in the class always help me feel a little bit better about my life.
