I have taken a number of yoga classes with Indigo Light. Joni was awesome, my back issues have cleared up, and I'm feeling much better. I will continue to use Indigo for yoga to maintain better health.

Deborah's class is my absolute favorite yoga class, and I have been to many different yoga classes over the years. She is very knowledgeable and motivating, and the other students are very friendly as well, like a family!

Stephanie is amazing! Stephanie has helped and is continuing to help me with building my core muscles, and with neck and back issues. She is always punctual. She is prepared for every class with new and increasingly difficult (at my pace) exercises. She always checks every position so I am doing them correctly. I would highly recommend her to everyone. Leslie is one of the best yoga instructors in Houston. Expect excellent vinayasa and hatha experience and knowledge. Her sessions pull together movement, breath, spirituality, and philosophy. Her teaching style accommodates novice to intermediate students and challenges all both physically and mentally. Leslie has a warm and kind personality, so even someone who is returning to the world of yoga feels comfortable and at ease. Guided meditation during savasana is a key draw, and she is also a wealth of knowledge on yoga spirituality. Mix all this with some playful humor and witticisms for a fulfilling and enjoyable yoga experience. If music is important to your experience, I think she has great, emotionally enthralling playlists.
I started my yoga practice with Renee in November 2015, and I give Renee my highest recommendaton as a yoga instructor. She is very knowledgeable and really cares whether my yoga practce is addressing my needs. I began my yoga practice with Renee in order to increase my flexibility due to an injury; however, in addition to increased flexibility, my yoga practice has immensely benefited me in other unexpected ways. Yoga with Cheri is life changing. I have exercised for many years, but Cheri's class added a wonderful new demension to my life. It has improved my balance and flexibility beyond my wildest dreams. I also have noticed increased strength in my core and less joint pain. Cheri is a conscientious teacher who manages to help each student in her class with form and safety. When you do Yoga with Sheri you do it right. Sheri's class are well planned as you build to more difficult challenges. The class time flies by as you are always engaged and challenged. I highly recommend Leslie as a Yoga instructor! I have taken her Vinyasa, Ashtanga yoga class as well as private group lessons. She has extensive knowledge about yoga and its philosophy. Her clear verbal instructions and beautiful demonstration could lead us to the asanas that once We thought impossible to achieve. Her creative flow is always enjoyable.

My 9 & 3 yr. olds attended an amazing yoga class with Ameera this summer & they haven't stopped asking when they can go again! She even had the perfect "Finding Dori" theme which all the kids could relate given the movie had recently released & they really had a blast with her innovative & unique poses! She's also amazing with children so that just made this a truly memorable experience for all of us!

Giesel Arnold teaches a very beneficial style of yoga - Vinyasa Krama, and she delivers classes that heal, strengthen, lengthen and condition every part of the body. Giesel is an outstanding instructor. She is able to make beginners feel welcome and confident, while challenging seasoned yogis in the same class! She gives an opportunity to share any stiffness, pain or injuries at the start of each class and tailors her classes to address your issues - so if you want to make the most of your session, speak up about what's going on in your body. Most importantly, she teaches a style of yoga that isn't vain or trendy, she uses the fundamentals in combinations that truly touch every centimeter in your body. If you want to stay young, limber, strong and healthy, consider taking Giesel's local classes, private teaching or her online programs that take you from beginner all the way to advanced. You'll thank yourself :)
I wouldn't know Jodi is a new yoga teacher unless she told me. She is very good at communicating her teaching methods with a concentration on breathing. When attending her class she provides a very relaxed atmosphere and encourages you to stretch yourself in new movements. I am a repeat student because of her calming voice and patience with me trying new yoga positions. If you haven't taken one of her classes, I highly recommend you do. You won't be disappointed.
Jenny was great! I learned more about isolating muscles in just one of her classes than I did in an entire three-week belly-dancing course taken elsewhere. She is friendly, approachable, and a fabulous instructor. I look forward to going back for more!
I knew nothing about yoga and Melissa's impeccable teachings and precise instructions has led me to believe anyone is capable of this kind of physical activity! I decided to pursue yoga classes at a studio close to where I live aftery personal lessons with her and realized that she explains each transition in a much more elaborate manner than some experienced yoga teachers. I highly recommend her to all, despite your level of experience!
