Cory is actually a former employ of ours. While he was with us he wrote all of our web content, contracts, and company email templates, edited all of our web content, contracts, and company email templates, and he was the copy editor for all of our clients. He's no longer employed by us directly, but we contract with him on our larger projects for content writing and editing. He's a pro, and he's always been willing to go above and beyond for us.

Author of six published novels. Fiddler, Portal, Mindpower, A Passage to Burma, The Lucifer Sanction, and most recent best seller, non-fiction -The Audit Sanction (2013)

I am a Houston-based editor, technical writer, and instructional designer with a background in Oil and Gas, and Education. My purpose is to ensure that your materials fully convey the message you want to send, whether you are marketing a new product, writing your first novel, or training rig hands on the latest OSHA regulations. Effective communication is my specialty.

I have over 20 years of writing (fiction, academic, non-fiction, feature articles and ghost writing), editing, and translation service experience. I can do it all! I have been published in both print and online media. I have also done translation from recorders, prints, and other means. I offer timely and professional turnaround on the projects I take.

General Business Description: S. Grant Slater I am a freelance writer and editor who is willing to help anyone with any sort of creative writing; however, I am not qualified to perform or edit most technical writing work. My business includes original composition ghost writing, as well as editing. I am ultimately willing to work with my clients, and, if editing, only offer advice, not demands. If I am composing a piece of work for my clients, I will consult with them as a priority. I find writing and editing to be an ultimately rewarding experience for both the client and myself. My job is to supplement clients in the production of the quality work that the client and I both desire. If you would like a sample of my work to prove my qualifications, email me and state the genre of work which you would like me to send. If you require editing for a draft you are working on, or have already completed, email a digital copy of the draft as an attachment (preferably in a .doc or .docx format) to the address mentioned above. Charges: Charges depend on the length of the work, in terms of quantity, and are negotiable, depending on special circumstances. There will be an initial fee, to insure both the protection of my personal finances, and to guarantee a reimbursement for any potential dissatisfaction. If the client is dissatisfied with my work or editing, the client and I will work together further (as long as it takes to satisfy the client). However, if the client remains dissatisfied, after extensive work on the project has been performed, I will gladly reimburse the initial fee of the client, but only after the initial payment is remunerated. Note: No travel or commute is necessary. Mail payments in check or cash form; however, for your security, a check is preferred. If payment is lost in the mail, I will, as will be affirmed in the legal contract which both I and the client will sign, reimburse any cash payments, and urge that the client be honest regarding check payments and contact his or her bank for a stop-payment on the check number. Mail Payments in check or cash form only to the address provided. Legal: In the case that a client fails to pay the fees agreed upon by the client and contractor without the consent of the contractor, legal action will be carried out in order to obtain these fees. For this reason, the accurate personal information of the client will be necessary in order for business to be continued. A digital contract will be sent to the email address of the client who is applying for writing services. Before any business is conducted, this contract must be printed, filled out, signed, and mailed to my address.
