Adam is extremely knowledgeable about what exercises you need to accomplish your goals. He readily offers extra tips and encouragement. Working out has never been my favorite but Adam taught me boxing and I finally found a workout that I love. He was always on time and I trained with him in my home. If I wanted advice about other exercises, foods to eat, or almost any other health/workout issue, he would always give me excellent advice. Anyone who hires Adam as a trainer is not only going to get a great workout, you will spend time with a quality human being.
I miss working out with Mike!! I live in Weatherford now or he would still be my trainer. He knew how to push me and even when I'd try to cancel for some bs reason he'd show up anyway! Mike loved my dog and that's always a way that I judge people, if they liked my dog and if my dog liked them back. And believe me, my dog loved Mike!! My favorite thing that Mike taught me was how to box. Is still have all my boxing gear and I make my husband hold the pads for me to hit. Mike will be proud to know that I still have a "mean right hook" as he called it. I highly recommend him to anyone willing to work bc believe me... he'll work the hell out of you!!
Danny is great! I'm hooked! He knows his martial arts and I love boxing with him. I'm learning a lot. Also working on mobility, nutrition, and weight training. Having a blast - highly recommend! Clearly has tons of experience.
I love working out with Jovan! He has been the first trainer that I have stuck with! I have been training with him for almost two years now and I have noticed a difference in myself physically and mentally. I look forward to working out with him. I've worked with Nadia Dosal for about 2 years as a dancer, and she's absolutely spectacular. She has taught me how to tap dance just within a month in a half which a difficult task to do. Nadia has patience with her dancers an doesn't mind going the extra mile to help you succeed. And that's what impressed me the most about my dance experience. Oh did I mention that she has a MA in Fine Arts/Dance from the University of Houston so you know she's got you covered. You'll have a great experience with her.

Fantastic gym!!! All the equipment you need, great staff, very clean, without all of the distractions of a "big box" gym. You can get serious about getting healthy without draining your wallet spending big bucks on services you will never use, or need.
Jessica has been working with me for about a month. She is motivating, knowledgable and somehow able to even get an overweight, unmotivated man to get excited about getting in shape. In the first 3 weeks of training, she was able to help me lose 5 pounds and take an inch of my waist. Now 5lbs might not sound like much, but you have to consider that I was also gaining muscle mass so actual fat loss was probably closer to 8-9lbs. Not Withstanding an old, untreated shoulder injury that has sidelined me for the last week, I am looking forward to the next session. In addition to her professinalism, Jessica offers a wide range of locations to workout, from your own home or apartment gym to a long list of boutique gyms where you can get the work done without the big box gym social scene. The best part of working out under Cortney's direction is that she truly listens to your needs and goals. She is always watching your form and making sure you are getting the most out if your workout. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming to start a fitness program but Cortney makes sure to ease you into the workout without even knowing you just did something challenging! She is a great coach, trainer, and teacher. She will make you return wanting to continue to better yourself. The best part is, she started this journey not too long ago. If you are one of those that wonder why you might need a personal trainer, Im here to tell you I was too. I had tried cross-fit, training on my own, boxing, etc. While I had made some serious improvements, it wasnt enough to reach my goal of being in the best shape by the time I reached my 50s and the most confident Ive ever been in my entire life. I credit Anthony with lighting that fire under me to get me there; to learn to be confident and believe in myself. Ive been training with him for about 18 months now and in that timeframe, Ive not only created but surpassed new fitness goals that I felt was unattainable. He takes the time to get to know you personally and helps you stay focused on what your goals are. Of course, you do have to do the work, but with his guidance, you can actually do the work correctly. I wont lie to you, it was (and is) hard, but well worth the commitment. Form, form, form and good habits are what youll gain from training with him. Anthonys charisma is infectious and he truly wants to see you succeed; maybe even more than you do!

I just joined the gym and have had an over all very good experience. They have a variety of equipment for different types of workouts. They have weights,TRX boxing and cross training equipment.! You don’t know where to begin lol Staff is very helpful and trainers are focused and professional I appreciate their not in a rush. Would highly recommend this gym !
I have been doing fitness and martial arts training with John Holt at The Academy for about 5 months now, and I have benefitted GREATLY from his instruction. John is extremely knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, exercise science, and martial arts. He designs fun and challenging exercise programs from a diverse and extensive repertoire of exercises that emphasize compound, functional movements. John has 7 black belts in a variety of martial arts - Muay Thai, Kali, Silat, Jun Fan, Jeet Kune Do, Grappling, and Boxing. Training in martial arts has increased my confidence, body awareness and coordination, as well as situational awareness. I take the train to work downtown, so I regularly encounter disgruntled people with little to lose. After training Muay Thai, Boxing, and Kali, I now feel much more prepared to defend myself if I were to be attacked. I also have more confidence walking down the street. Gary is an awesome personal trainer. He is very patient in working with me in our session. He is honest in telling me if I don't do the routines correctly and will correct it. Gary also makes our workout session interesting and enjoyable. I work with him on 1 on 1 basis as well as attend his Kick boxing class. My experience has been excellent! The workouts that I signed up for are one hour each and the combination of upper and lower body exercises have given me greater definition as well as muscle tone within a shorter amount of time. It is the first time that I have hired a trainer and truly seen results. Each workout is custom to my needs and at a pace that I feel comfortable. Definitely worth the time and investment!
