Recently I had a bad virus on my computer, I contact thumbtack and found Mr. Harry Stein, and he immediately went fast to work on my computer. It was very convenient as he was able to repair my laptop remotely.What was so amazing about his service was not only was he a expert and extremely thorough, but very good at education me on why & how the problem most likely occur, but also how I can avoid it in the future. Mr.Stein keep a detail documentation of everything he did step by step.He educated and was very patient with any question I or my finance'had of concern. I am an IT recruiter for IBM so when I messed up my laptop, Ernest responded quickly, ON FATHERS' DAY" to come fix my laptop... I didn't give him a DVD needed for the fix because I thought it was just a "DVD intro to the laptop, The manufacturer shouldn't call things DVD as it implies a movie or something,,, should have said CD - Important System backups" Either way his service was prompt and swift, I wish him the best.

John took my computer while I was away on vacation with family. He continually contacted me when there was a question or concern and kept me updated, daily as the progress continued. Initially, I had taken my laptop to Fry's and was confused by all of the problems they said I had. While at Fry's I met John, who was a customer, and he asked me what the problem was with my laptop. He indicated that, if I went with Fry's quote, I needed to ensure that they did not charge me for another copy of Windows 7 because it was already installed on my laptop and could be reinstalled after fixing or replacing the hard drive. He gave me his phone number and I decided to call him to discuss this when I got home. I called John and he asked me a lot of questions about the laptop and came to the conclusion that the problem was less serious than was described. He indicated that he could take a look at the laptop and run several programs to assess it's issues. I took the laptop to him and over the period of a week found that the original assessment of 'replacing the hard drive,' purchasing and reinstalling Windows 7 and buying another copy of Microsoft Office was false and he would start working on the fix that very day. He called me for permission to buy 'recovery dvd's from Gateway to ensure that the correct software would be installed with the proper drivers, etc. He indicated that the major problem with the laptop was that it had been used and not 'optimized' for so many years that the software had become corrupted with conflict of drivers, etc. By the time I got home the following week, he had diagnosed the entire laptop, performed a COMPLETE backup of my entire laptop files and re-installed the laptop to Gateway factory specifications, all without charging me any additional fee. Most of what was done did not require me to pay for more software or hardware. John knew what he was doing and my laptop is working better than when it was delivered, brand new. The hard drive did not need to be replaced and I was ecstatic about the work he performed. I can honestly say that he saved me over $250 in repairs that were unneeded and my laptop has never worked better or faster. I will certainly call him again, if the need arises. I appreciated his patience and efforts with this technically challenged individual!!!! The Cavalries came out and the same week to set up our brand new office. They offered very competitive rates to do a full set up. We had 2 Desktops, 2 Laptops, Router/Switch, WiFi, Ethernet Drops, and Printers installed. We also use their monthly IT Support plan.
I recently purchased a new laptop in order to play online poker. The problem was that I could not log into my favorite site. Mr Hime totally solved my problem by cleaning up files that the manufacturer had loaded onto the computer. I am a total novice on computer maintenance and his expertise was welcome. The experience did not feel intrusive at all, as Mr. Hime had to do the repair with the use of a remote access software program. The total cost to me was much less than what even the computer company offered to fix it for. Overall a very positive outcome considering I was ready to return the computer.

My work is genuine, other places that do what I do (cellphone repairs) always end up having bad reviews. Those places always take good parts from the customers phone and put in non working parts. My parts are always 100% new, limited warranty included.
