My approach to teaching music does not come from boring theory and a process that takes years before you can enjoy what music is about. If you're not actually playing music with your guitar within the first week of starting your lessons, your chances of success are slim and none, so that is our primary goal with beginning guitar. With vocal lessons, if you are not able in real time, to find and start using your God given tools to instantly hear improvement, and over time, sustainable marked dramatic improvement with each passing week, then you have the wrong teacher. If you do not have the natural ability, even with hard work, to accomplish your goal, I will be the first one to let you know. My goal, as an instructor, is NOT to take your money, but to help you find a deeper passion that motivates you to accomplish all your musical goals. Finally, there is a difference between being a good singer that people eventually yawn at when listening to, and a performer that has the ability to "Deliver" music, with all it's passion, captivating the listener with every word and note, allowing them to experience the song from their own point of reference, as it was intended by the writer and composer. That difference is miniscule, but it is noticebly different. My job as an instructor, is to get you to not only notice that difference, but experience it for yourself as the artist, with power, emotion, passion, and conviction, that cannot be denied. I look forward to helping you discover the higher plain of music. It's an investment with the greatest of returns.
