I started my lessons with Ettelson Piano Studio in July of 2014. It's been a wonderful and fulfilling experience as a young adult (mid-20s) learning to play piano with some musical background. Meryl recognizes my abilities and (temporary) limitations and then designs the curriculum to adapt to the pace at which I'm learning and/or improving. She is patient and cordial, as well as fun and the right amount of challenging. I look forward to many years of working with her and am excited with my future development in the skill.

I've taken instrumental private lessons throughout my childhood and adult life and Chaundra met and exceeded all expectations. She was thorough and made learning interesting. She worked at a pace that suite me best. Chaundra was always punctual with her appointment times and we never experience any communication problems. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to take piano lessons!

Mr. Corb has years of experience performing & teaching...& conveniently came to my home. He was kind, patient, & focused while introducing my beginners (aged 6 & 9) to the piano. They both enjoyed their lesson & I was impressed to see the progress made in only 30 minutes. We look forward to continuing lessons with Mr. Corb.

Over the last 10 months I have been taking weekly piano lessons at the Vanover Music Academy in Houston with Dr. Krume Andreevski. My teacher is a highly educated talented pianist with real-life teaching experience while actively involved in performing musical activities. As an adult student I enjoy learning piano in a very casual, relaxed atmosphere. However, I very much appreciate that Krume’s teaching attitude provides strong discipline and professionalism. Friendly, approachable, organized, enthusiastic and very articulate Krume cares deeply about improving his piano teaching practices. He shows great flexibility to best accommodate each student’s unique skills, abilities, goals and needs. I do my scales, arpeggios, chords, Hanons and piano course exercises but at the same time my teacher insists on me playing Schuman (for now) because the ultimate goal of learning piano is making music. With exemplary stage presence and charisma, Krume has a special gift to connecting with his audience and always gets a great emotional response from his public. Joyfully alive, skillfully delectable, honest and filled with heartfelt emotion, his piano playing is always inspiring. I strongly recommend Mr. Krume Andreevski for students of all skill levels and ages who understand that learning the piano is a serious commitment. To achieve piano playing mastery you need the best quality teaching.

About

I have been teaching piano since I tutored in high school. I have taught as a graduate assistant while completing my master's degree in piano. Piano lessons are once a week for 30 minutes or twice a week for 30 minutes each. Recitals, competitions, festivals, and theory tests are offered throughout the year. Recitals are held once per year. Competitions, festivals, and theory tests are offered throughout the year by the music teachers association. Participation in these events are strongly recommended, but not forced. Keyboard is fun. Give it a try!
