DRUM Lessons - My son is new to music lessons. John is very patient. Repeating concepts so he understands, but continues to introduce new concepts. I'm not sure we will continue once initial lessons paid for in advance are completed as my my son is complaining of a headache after lessons.
My 9 year old son had a drum lesson with Gilbert. It was his first lesson with this teacher; he had about 20 sessions with his school music teacher in the past. Gilbert was kind and patient and seemed enthusiastic, but most importantly—my son liked him and felt inspired to practice. He has been drumming rhythms on every flat surface and is looking forward to his next lesson
Jeff is an awesome teacher. Really in tune with todays kids. Very easygoing and more than happy to work with parents schedules. Jeff encourges James to look deeper into his music and James always looks forward to his weekly drum lesson.
My two sons take drum lesson from Mr. Paul Kush since they were in elementary school. One is in college now and the other is in high school. Of all the years, i have known Mr. Kush, he is very attentive and professionals with his students. We enjoyed him as a drum teacher and would highly recommend him to anyone of our friends and families!!
My daughter learns piano in the conservatory of music at cinco ranch. They are very caring, punctual and best for music lessons. My daughter was very novice at the start and now she can play piano looking at the scripts. We are very happy they way she is progressing. Teachers are very attentive and pay proper attention. Thank you very much.
Lessons With Austin has been an awesome experience for my 15 year old son who plays the drums and has been there for about a year and a half. We were looking for inexpensive drum lessons since we weren't sure if he would stick with them and LWA provides the only group lesson setting we could find for drummers which makes the lessons more affordable. Once my son got serious about drumming we switched to private lessons. Sayer is an excellent teacher and my son, who can be a bit quirky and sometimes the quiet type, really relates to him. In addition there is a recital two times per year and it is a fun recital to attend because they are allowed to pick out their own songs for the most part and often it is popular or rock music that is fun to listen to. Not excruciating to sit through as my son's piano recitals sometimes were. Overall the teaching is quality and they always use positive feedback and my son feels like they "get" him which keeps him motivated and he has become a good little drummer! Every now and then there are some organizational issues, but I think that is just the result of them growing really fast and this seems to be improving as time goes on.
I've worked with Ed on and off over the last few years. As a player, he is a total pro, able to deliver at a high level across many styles. What I really love about playing with Ed is that he is also a great person - always a positive attitude, punctual and prepared. Ed is my first call when I need a drummer, for both live and studio work. He has also given some drum lessons to my son, providing not just style and technique, but also some great philosophy and guidance about music in general.
Mr.Bruce teaches both drums and guitar. He teaches both my sons. One plays drums and the other guitar.Mr.Bruce is very talented and experienced. He is an excellent teacher and an amazing drummer. He is very patient with his students and always makes sure that his students are thorough with what they have learned. My boys are always excited to go for lessons.I highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in drums.
I'm in my 40's and a slow learner. I've always wanted to learn the drums and never had any musical experience. John was very patient and willing to do whatever he can to go through the lessens he has provided. He also created a music sheet that is easy to understand. I feel at ease that I can do well, that is something I can really appreciate.
Excellent rapport with young children, punctual, and very positive attitude! My five year old son looks forward to drum lessons every week because Mr. Juan makes it fun and engaging. My son is paying attention the entire lesson!
Not only is Andrew an awesome person, he is a very gifted drummer. I feel very blessed that my son has him for a teacher. In just a few months of lessons, I can see the progress my son has made. He has learned proper techniques as well as how to read notes. Andrew is very patient and makes lessons fun. We highly recommend him! - Rolanda
I'm 20 years old. I play guitar and drums since I was 3 years old. I grew up playing guitar and then I started playing the drums.
I knew this was my passion and then my girlfriend wanted to learn to play guitar and drums so I thought I should be a drum teacher and guitar teacher and start giving lessons.
I would teach how to play by ear and play to song tracks of the clients' favorite artist. Clients would need to bring their own guitar and amp, and for drumming clients, just their drumsticks.
I work reach, rudiments, hand techniques, grooves, beats, shuffles and patterns in my drum lessons. I'm very passionate about teaching music and sharing my talent, lessons and thoughts; and help my clients.
I get my students playing MUSIC as fast as I can. Learning the fundamentals along the way, I strive to get all my students playing music and having FUN with the drums. My weekly lessons are also supplemented with BONUS video lessons on my exclusive membership site where there are many extra drum lessons uploaded just for my students each month!
