- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had bought a house with a swimming pool, and in mid July the filtration motor quit. The house was new and still under warranty, so I called the warranty company to have it fixed. Then to my surprise they informed me that it would be at least 2 weeks before anyone could look at it. So after fighting with the warranty company I decided to fix it myself, after all, I was a mechanic for a major airline, so fix it I did !! and that's how my swimming pool gig got started.
