What can I say about Jose! Jose is an excellent trainer and coach. He is very patient and timely for all sessions. He provides comprehensive training as well as meal plans to keep you going. All customized to you! He is also so accessible-- you can text him anytime about any random fitness question (Is this snack bar okay? Does this Jawbone thing make sense? Can I cut carbs for life?) and he cheerfully responds-- with smilies thrown in. If you are looking for someone to really push you, without being pushy, he is your guy. Honestly, I was nervous about working with a trainer- as someone who is not very fitness inclined. I was worried about being judged (looking silly), wasting time/money, and being pushed to my breaking point. That never happened. Jose is never judgmental about your mistakes, he is super patient and he truly cares about getting you to your goal. Rain or shine. He is priced fairly which is so important. He also doesn't harp on money when its due-- which he should do! He trained us- no matter what! And yes, though he challenges you, he is an expert who knows what you can take. There were many times when I thought I could not do a particular exercise-- but Jose helped me prove myself wrong. I can't speak highly enough of him! Ladies, if you are worried about having a male trainer-- Jose will change your mind. He is not "creepy" at all, and you can feel like you are training in a safe place. If you have a friend, bring them-- he trains friends too-- and it's lots of fun to push each other! Jose changed the game for me, and I will continue to involve him in my health journey. I am the healthiest me that I have been in a long time, and if it weren't for Jose-- that would not have been possible. Thanks Jose! You are AWESOME!!!!!! (and his hair is model-quality, too- not bad!)
I have been training with Alex for 2 months so far. Exercises he has chosen and his overall supervision and recommendations for my fitness and nutrition have helped me greatly. My weight loss and muscle gain have accelerated. Here are the numbers: in these 2 months I lost 21 lbs and my body fat (measured by Sequoia Warrior) went down from 18% to 9%. Alex has also took great care of my runner's knee problem. He designed a combination of deep tissue massage and stretching, did these things himself and taught me. They helped and I have recently managed to run 7 miles without having knee pain or stiffness afterwards. I also want to say that Alex is always going to spend little extra time to achieve my goals and is eager to accomodate changes in my schedule. I am looking forward to training with him.

I have been training with Ricky Jackson for over 10 years. I first started when I began training for the Golden Gloves. My goal was to win my age group in my weight division. Ricky had the unique background of being a former professional world class fighter and a body builder. His skills in both areas helped me accomplish my goal and I won the Houston championship. I have continued to train with Ricky and introduced my 2 daughters who now train with him also. They are both in outstanding shape and capable of being personal trainers themselves. One of my daughters became an ODP level soccer player who now plays Division 1 soccer. Whether you want to become an accomplished athlete or just attain your highest level of fitness Ricky has a program he can design and implement for you. I trained with Jennifer Koch at 24 hr fitness. She is a fantastic trainer. She consistently wore me out every workout I had with her. I really liked how she changed up the workouts each time and we never did anything twice. She definitely pushed me harder than I thought I could go, which made for an even better workout. My name is Ben and I am currently a Division 1 athlete chasing the dream of being a professional. I have known Akshay for quite a while now and there is no one who is more willing to help you through whatever tasks you are striving to complete in the physical world. One of the greatest things about him is that he is never not interested in your training and is always excited to see his clients and help them get better at everything they do. It is genuine excitement and there is really no comparing the feeling when you know your trainer believes that you can do something even more than you believe it yourself. Specific to the training aspect, I play soccer and while I was going through the recruitment process, one of the things I was always told was that I wasn't the quickest or the fastest. I wasn't really slow per say, but I definitely needed to work on my acceleration and that is something that Akshay provided me with during my training with him. Another personal goal I had for myself was to get bigger in general and Akshay knew that, so we incorporated a lot of lifting into the workouts. Through the 2 months of training I did with him, I saw my acceleration, mobility, vertical, and strength improve drastically. I gained about 8 pounds as well and he is the one who basically told me what to eat and what to watch out for. After training with Akshay, I came to my preseason trainings for college and was always one of the first in my fitness tests. It was a real pleasure to work with Caveman Fitness and hopefully it may continue into my professional career.
I have been training with Will for just over 3 weeks now. In that short time, I have already learned so much, and I feel strongly that working with Will is one of the best health decisions that I have made. Will teaches me the fundamentals of strength training and fitness that many other trainers overlook the need to do. I have been training with Fitness Stop for more than 2 years. Following their nutrition guide and training with Robert, I lost 30 pounds and went from flabby to strong. I have never had such great abs. The best part is that the trainer comes to you, so you don't have to motivate yourself to get to the gym. Ashleigh was chosen from a bundle of personal trainers to be our official trainer for our Real Women, Real Results Houston weight loss contest for I-REMOVE. She did wonderfully! Each of the ladies she worked with had so many amazing and great things to say about her too. All together they lost 48lbs across 4 ladies and that is wonderful! She worked with them on an individual basis and even put together a home routine for one contestant that couldn't make sessions. She did everything in her ability to help these ladies succeed and worked with various levels of fitness too. Ashleigh has even helped our company (InQpharm North America) internally by giving our office material for blogs, and helping us to come up with some in office exercises we can do to stay moving all day. You can't go wrong hiring Ashleigh, she was wonderful.
After my first baby my main concern was to recover my physical appearance. Too much weight, belly dar,...it was awful. When you are looking for a personal trainer, you expect he to help you but José goes far beyond. He becomes a friend with the best advices, a father worrying about you. He helps you to overcome your expectations every day. He also has a vast knowledge about nutrition and training. He likes to share posts with clients about fitness and health. When you decide to make a change, Tonya Sampson " my trainer", is only part of her label. She becomes your brand and that's the only way I can describe her. She's your life coach, sounding board, friend, sister, and that person that sometimes at 530 am has sunshine coming out of her bum and you want to punch but instead hug!! Because she's there for you!! She's changed my life to say the least. She always thinks of things that could motivate me, make me laugh when I want to cry, and just be a better person, not just physically but as a human being! It's not about the check in/out hour session for her when she is with you. She's personally invested in you and a cheerleader the whole time, whether you ask for it or not. ;) So having her as your trainer isn't what you get if you work with her. She treats you like you are literally her only client, is flexible, and has your best interest at heart at all times. She's a huge blessing in my life and honesty if you can pick... who wants some meathead trainer that could care less about you when you can have her?
Mac was my instructor for a semester-long boot camp class through our university. I was initially hesitant about the class because I had never participated in one before, and I have some joint issues that I knew I would have to work around. Mac went above and beyond what I could have imagined from an instructor. He made everyone in the class feel welcomed, no matter what their fitness or experience level was. And he was more than happy to work with me, and other students, to help us adjust our work out to get the same results without aggravating injuries. I never thought that I would say I enjoyed a boot camp class as much as I did!
Alan is very responsive to calls and text messages about questions I may have. On my first session he got to know my goals and had a short workout session that I feel the next day just what I was looking for. His process is very professional compare to other personal trainers I've been to he's professional with his job. He takes your initial measurement and body fat percent to track your progress along the way
Darren is one of the best trainers out there! He is always professional, punctual and communicative. He helps us keep focused on our goals and gets us back on track when we are off track.
