Barbara is amazing!!! I should start by saying that I took on most of the wedding planning on my own. Due in part to geographic distance, I knew I'd be planning and organizing most of the event on my own--and because I love to DIY, I started the process off feeling confident that I could manage everything independently. It took me months to realize that, in fact, having help--particularly from a professional who has first-hand experience--is a tremendous asset. Barbara impressed me from our very first conversation with her warmth and organization and willingness to (literally) meet me and learn about the vision my fiance and I had for our wedding. As our day-of-coordinator, she lifted a huge burden from myself and helped me organize friends and family as we all came together to celebrate. I only wish I had found Barbara sooner--I would have happily hired her to help me plan the event from the start!

Amanda was a fantastic coordinator for my very DIY wedding! I thought I could handle everything myself, but as the date approached and I was completely overwhelmed, Amanda came to the rescue. We met several times to make sure things would go smoothly across all of our various venues and she kept the communication lines open. She was organized, thorough, and wonderful to work with. Even when there was a glitch with the sound equipment, Amanda kept things moving and made the night perfect. We couldn't have done it without her!

Michelle exceeded all of our expectations as far as her responsiveness, creativity and professionalism in planning our wedding. She is extremely friendly and truly cares about what she does. She went far beyond to make our day special and free of stress. She even helped us tremendously with our rehearsal dinner and to find ways to make the trip memorable to the many guests that we had attend from out of town. I cannot say enough about Pete! From day one he went above and beyond in helping my plan and coordinate my wedding. His responses were always timely and professional. He accompanied me to the venue during my planning in order to best prepare himself for the day. He even volunteered to come to my rehearsal at no extra cost. To my surprise, the day of rehearsal, Pete showed up with all his necessary equipment and completely took charge of the rehearsal. He made the ceremony practice flow so easily and took all the pressure off myself and my mother. The day of the ceremony, Pete showed up early, got set up, and proceeded to help everyone finish getting ready for the day. He sent all the wedding party down the aisle at ease and fluffed my dress before I walked. He turned the reception into a party and played the songs I wanted and then some. I got so much more out of his services than I ever expected. I highly recommend Pete to ANYONE getting married in the area, he definitely made a huge difference in our wedding!

FIVE STARS. When you hire someone, there are certain core qualities that you look for. Often times, you have to give a compromise a little when compared to expectations. However, regarding Cassy there was virtually nothing we had to give up. She communicated with us quickly and efficiently. She was professional and worked with purpose. She was punctual, and her work quality exceeded our expectations, for our wedding. Let me repeat that: she EXCEEDED our expectations for OUR WEDDING. You can't buy value like that, but she made it possible. She is also very knowledgeable and has a gentle/sweet demeanor. Here's the bottom line: if you like someone who communicates well (able to listen and convey ideas clearly and concisely), works with purpose, and in a timely manner, and works to meet your expectations without an unreasonable price tag attached, then Cassy is definitely for you. Keye’s guidance and suggestions made our wedding day truly stress free. She was organized and took care of everything on the big day. She had wonderful vendor recommendations and the food was to die for! Her attention to detail allowed not only my husband and me to enjoy the day, but also our families and wedding party. Keye and her assistant handled all the organization and printing of the seating chart, place cards, and menus, had cocktails and hors d’oeuvres waiting for us post ceremony so we could enjoy a few minutes alone. Elegant Edge Events was wonderful and I would happily recommend their services to anyone planning a wedding.
I had a 6 months engagement...so everything had to be done super quickly. I was very busy getting everything together for my actual wedding but Cillia planned EVERYTHING for my bachelorette party. She is AMAZINGGGG! I had a very atypical vision for my bachelorette party which was more of outdoorsy & adventurous. I know it was a challenge because none of my girls had that type of personally. Cillia somehow worked it all out so that everyone left having had an awesome time while sticking with what I wanted. She handled photography, gifts, shirt and robe ordering, venue booking, activity coordination....Ya’ll it was just a weekend to remember. You won’t be disappointed going with her!!
