Kirsten conducted Yoga classes for the kids on our street during the summer. She made the classes so much fun, that the kids loved Yoga and looked forward to her classes. She also taught the adults and we loved it. She is always on time, cheerful, knows what she is doing and answers question patiently. We r looking forward to another summer of Yoga.

I love Jamie! She is an excellent yoga instructor. I look forward to attending her class every week. She has a lot of knowledge about the body and yoga and offers so many different options for people facing all sorts of challenges. By far the best yoga class I've ever taken. I'm Barbara K. I took Yoga lessons with Charlotte Rose. She is an excellent teacher: structures the class to start gently and really knows the body and what should be warmed up to stretch for peak performance and then a wonderful relaxation. She is caring and can customize for my special needs. I highly recommend her.

Liz is a wonderful teacher; she is passionate about yoga and form. She transformed my experience. I'd been doing yoga for a while, but by tweaking my foot placement in mountain pose, I have a whole new and more powerful workout happening. I highly recommend her.

I've been going to Angie's studio for group classes and private lessons for almost a year now. She is terrific! The workouts are challenging and fun, and never the same twice...a perfect recipe for success. Angie genuinely cares about her clients, and tailors the lesson or class to your fitness level - I highly recommend her!

I have taken yoga classes on and off for more than a decade. I have taken classes with Trey for about six months. There are so many things I love about Trey's classes: 1) Trey actually knows what he is doing. He is a GOOD yoga teacher. You would think that would be basic but I have had far more bad teachers than good. 2) Trey is very supportive and patient. We all have good days and challenging days. Whatever kind of yoga day I am having, Trey is encouraging and reminds me that tomorrow will be another day. 3) Trey is not one of those teachers whose goal seems to be to whip students through as many poses as possible in an hour. He takes the time in each posture to help us understand the end goal, adjust us, help us deepen our practice, and make the micro-adjustments that create progress. 4) Trey is also great at gearing the class to the level of his students, giving "advancements" to more experienced students when we have new students in the class. I actually had a yoga teacher try to teach full headstands in a Level 2 class. I appreciate Trey because it's great to stretch yourself (pun not intended) but it's stupid, and a great way to injure yourself, to do things you simply aren't ready for. 5) It is Trey's commitment to true yoga practice that has caused tremendous improvement in my yoga practice. I have seen improvement in balance, strength, and flexibility. This started happening after just six weeks. Trey has also been great in suggesting things for home practice. 6) A bonus, Trey is fun and funny. He doesn't take it too seriously. He makes an effort to get to know his students. He remembers where we started, so he points out milestones. "Hey, I remember when you couldn't X and look at you now!" So, YES! Go take a class with Trey Albright. namaste, gretchen

I really enjoyed my session with Shayla. It was my first time doing yoga and she helped me get into some of the positions and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely try this again.

Stephanie is an amazing instructor. For not having any yoga experience private lessons were a must for me. She carefully led me through different poses and taught me correct form and technique throughout the whole class. I have been extremely active my whole life and have never worked up a sweat like I did in her class! Absolutely amazing!

Melissa offers personalized classes comprised of a variety of yoga styles in the comfort of your home in which to explore the mind, body and soul. In addition, Melissa offers a range of services for expectant moms, including private yoga classes, hypnobirthing childbirth education and doula services. At Turiya Yoga, we believe that yoga and self-relaxation techniques combined with a holistic approach provide a pathway to bring about positive and transformational change in your life, and we nurture that journey with all our students. Although we believe that a regular yoga practice offers a variety of benefits to one's overall fitness, fitness is not our primary focus. Our one-on-one private yoga classes or yoga therapy sessions for those living with the physical challenges of cancer and chronic conditions offer an alternative to fitness-focused gym classes. Melissa has a heartfelt desire to offer support both physically and emotionally to her students regardless of their struggles.

    About

I began my journey with yoga about 3 years ago and have practiced almost everyday since. I believe that yoga is an accessible practice to all ages and body types and with consistent practice, it is amazing the progress that your body and soul will make. This practice will allow you to sculpt your ideal body, free your true self, and transform your life. I teach power vinyasa flow yoga. This practice is a powerful and energetic form of yoga where students learn to fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breath to their movements. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session. It is the perfect blend of sweat and serenity. Though my focus is making the practice accessible to all ages and body types, I also like to play and have fun with arm balances and inversions!
