It was a pleasure to meet Alfredo tonight.He knows his work and is trustworthy. When I got home after work this evening my AC was not blowing any cold air and my family was suffering from the heat and humidity.Alfredo and I made contact and he was kind enough to come over and did a very thorough detailed check on my central unit outside and inside and came up with a plan to fix my unit. My lines outside were frozen and he went to work and solved my dilemma. My house is cooling nicely again and I would recommend this business to all San Antonians.

Alfredo provided extensive systems checks to not only make sure the system was working as intended but also to provide information on things to look for that are normal and not so normal that may need attention. Not only is the system running well, I came away knowing substantially more about our AC system than ever before. Highly recommend Texas Techs, they really go above and beyond and even with the high number of calls during related to the freezing weather, they still do their best to get to everyone they can. Will be planning maintenance with them in the future.

One thing many of us worry about is the honesty of these companies. Not having very much knowledge of AC units and how they work, you fear that a company will come in and just speak big AC terms and convince you to do something that isn't really needed or won't really solve your issue. Texas Techs and Alfredo are honest. Alfredo came to my home and inspected my AC unit and duct work to determine why my house wasn't cooling evenly or cooling adequately. He told me there were things that could be done, and they may or may not make a difference in my comfort. They would be less costly but also less likely to solve my issue. The only real solution, which is costly, would be the only way he would guarantee me a fix. He didn't refuse to do the smaller jobs, he just didn't feel comfortable performing them, afraid that I wouldn't be satisfied with the outcome. I really appreciated this honestly and I really appreciated the time he took climbing into my attic to inspect my system before explaining to my everything that was done incorrectly when it was originally designed and what would need to be done to have it run perfect.
This is a company that I would would feel extremely comfortable with hiring for another job.

Have contacted Texas Techs on 2 occasions, and both times not only were they responsive and timely, they were extremely professional and provided quality work. Their prices were lower, and they were able to get out to us on the same day on both occasions. Highly recommended for any AC/Heating issues.
