Eric W. says, "I've had several things done by Drainworks over the last two years. I've had a water heater installed, I've had my entire sewer line replaced, and I've had a flow restrictor placed on my water line due to high water pressure. Each time they pay me a visit they are quick, accommodating, and honest. The flow restrictor really necessary because I was just below the max acceptable levels so their plumber actually let me know before they did any work. I went ahead with it anyway because I was preparing the house for sale and did not want it to become an issue. They are fairly affordable and as stated above , wont suggest work you don't need or try to up sale you. You can be sure you'll get a plumber at your door rather than a salesman."See more

Charles Huber says, "I have just begun my relationship with Homefront. I joined their annual program about three weeks ago.The initial inspection went smoothly and was professional in every respect. The real test came this week when my system stopped working entirely at 12:30 on Wednesday afternoon. I called their scheduler Emily who promised to get to the technician as soon as possible. At around 2:30 she called to tell me that Zac was on his way to my house.Zac arrived around 3:00, diagnosed the problem - a dead blower motor - and located the part in Dallas. The part was shipped in Thursday and Zac arrived early Friday morning to install the blower. The system took all day to bring the house down from 94 to 77 but everything is fine now. This level of speed and service is extraordinary and I would not expect any organization to be able to work this well every time, but what a great first experience for building confidence and trust.Thank you Homefront!"See more

Ralph Do says, "Few times have I felt the need to go out of my way to leave a review, but Edgar Loredo and his team have certainly earned the praise. In need of a full HVAC replacement after the compressor on my old 20 year old system gave out, I reached out to several HVAC companies to get bids. After many pushy sales people, I decided to reach out to Edgar at Loredo A/C.He took the time to educate me about the different systems available and clearly laid out the trade-offs between them so I could make an informed decision. Through the installation he was patient enough to explain to me in layman's terms how the system works and how to maintain it. He and his crew were extremely polite, made sure to protect everything inside the house, and thoroughly cleaned after they were done.I cannot speak highly enough about the service they provided. In an age where honest and trustworthy services are hard to come by, Loredo A/C stands out for their stellar and impeccable work.- Rafael Domit"See more

FAQs

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

If your air ducts have been damaged, you’ll need to replace them. The national average air duct replacement cost is $150-$280, which may not include materials. Factors such as duct material, labor, location of ducts and linear feet of ductwork will all affect your final costs. Labor costs will vary based on how accessible the ducts are and what material your ducts are made of. The least expensive duct material is a flexible, non-metallic ducting that costs approximately $1-$2 per linear foot. Flexible aluminum is generally more expensive and stronger than non-metallic ducting. Stainless steel ducting is the strongest, the least flexible (meaning installing it typically has higher labor rates), and usually the most expensive. An average price for air duct replacement could range between $35 and $55 per linear foot, including basic materials and labor. A typical single-family home has 6-10 duct runs; replacing or installing one duct run could average $150-$250 for labor.
