Pablo built a covered patio for us. He was responsive when communicating about the project and he delivered a high quality product at a fair price. We have gotten lots of compliments from family and friends about our awesome patio.

We hired Eddie to extend our patio and build a retaining wall and steps. Very professional and hard working. Unlike other contractors that we've hired, Eddie and his crew actually came when they said they would in the morning and stayed all day working. The job was done quickly and looks amazing.

Needed old 10×10 patio cover replaced with 10×14. Demolition went speedily and after discussion and exchange of ideas new cover was rebuilt in one day. Some items had to be manufacture on site but they were inventive. A quick and neat replacement at reasonable charge. I would definitely use their talents again.

This company was nothing short of amazing. I have had extremely terrible luck with contractors since I’ve been in San Antonio, and they came to the rescue. I had a flagstone patio built by another contractor I found here on Thumbtack (A/G Lawn Maintenance-do NOT ever hire!) and that previous contractor had no idea what they were doing. They had a terrible attitude, no show, and left the job 100% incorrectly done and unfinished. StoneWater not only fixed the patio that was done wrong, but they were punctual, very good at communicating, extremely professional, and the end product is beautiful. I would 100% recommend hiring them! The first picture is the BEFORE pic, and the second one is the AFTER pic. Way better, and more importantly done correctly!

Mark did a great job repairing our patio cover. He called us the night before to touch base and get acquainted with the project so he’d be prepared. When he arrived he was friendly and professional. The job was well done and we are happy with it. The actual cost ended up being less than what was quoted. All in all, a great experience!

The quote was very good and was what I ended up paying. If I had wanted something fancier, it would have cost more. I settled for a simple 2-post roof/cover over my small patio. The first rain resulted int leaks from the roof on one end and at the center where the ceiling fan hung. Mr. Gay came out and identified the problem and fixed it. After several rains, still no leaks. I was concerned about some vertical cracks on the posts. Mr Gay came out and examined them; he explained that was normal and would not cause any problems; but he said if any problems developed, to call him back. I did not have to call him back. All and all, very satisfied with the work -- took 3 days over a 5 day period. Mr Gay was reasonable and for the most part efficient. I bought an outdoor ceiling fan specifically for flushing with the ceiling. Unfortunately, he was unable to get the fan to hang flush with the ceiling; that was my only disappointment. I will have to hire someone who is an expert in hanging ceiling fans to hang it the way I want it to hang. I would recommend AOS to anyone needing a simple roof installed over their patio.

Whatever you do, do NOT HIRE him to build a patio. He had no clue what he was doing. Where to even begin. Day one should’ve been a huge red flag. He was supposed to be there at 8:30 AM, and didn’t show up the entire day. He said he had to go get Flagstone from another city. This was a Tuesday, he made me pre-pay $500 to get the flagstone that previous Friday so that he could start bright and early Tuesday morning. So the reason he didn’t have it is beyond me. Then on Wednesday when he finally did show up he didn’t show up until noon. When building a flagstone patio, you are supposed to dig down 2 to 4 inches before even starting with anything. He immediately dumped a bunch of sand on top of the grass. Uhhhhh. Totally wrong. That has so much give with soft grass and dirt and sand on it. Then the “retaining wall” he built to hold this whole thing up was not dug in at all. Literally stacked it on top of grass, and it’s crooked. He also used the WRONG bricks. He used the type that you would put around the base of a tree for decoration. No way to reinforce them and they’re a triangle shape because they’re meant for landscaping circular areas. Whew, after all that, when he was laying the flagstone on top of the NOT compacted dirt and my sister said something to him. He walked off the job. He was doing everything wrong, and when you try to correct him he will just quit. Then the harassment started. He had already been paid $1000 at this point. Definitely only about $300 in supplies have been bough. He started sending myself and my sister-in-law Venmo request for an additional $600. Saying the work is “done”. No homie, that’s not how life works. You can’t do a job completely wrong, walk off the job without finishing, and then expect to get paid in full. We had to put locks on the gates because he seems like the immature type that would retaliate. Oh and the frosting on the cake? As soon as we got a big rain this week, all of that dirt and sand went flooding out into the grass because of his half assed retaining wall. Super. This was supposed to be a surprise and a gift to my sister, and now it is just a big nightmare and we are $1000 down. Run for the hills before you ever think of hiring him for a project.
