WellFit Fitness is amazing. All the trainers are friendly and very knowledgable. Patty has been preparing me for selection for Army Spec Ops and I leave every session feeling more prepared and stronger. I’ve been working out with Daniel for the last year or so, off and on. I love the gym and the family feel, everyone says hi and goes out of their way to give advice or answer questions. Daniel takes the time to listen to your goals, and works with you to find a workable/realistic plan, and then holds you accountable to that plan. Both Daniel and Michelle make themselves available in the gym AND at home by phone/text, and have become friends as well as my gym family/trainers. I was at my previous gym for years, but left after my goals shifted, and Metroflex is now my second home (my happy place). 🙂
I am lucky to have found Leslie! Being a personal trainer myself, I was looking for someone who is knowledgeable (someone I could learn from) and she has been extremely helpful, accommodating, motivating. I have learned a ton and have noticed a big improvement in myself and my training. The workouts are always tough, but fun! FINALLY!!!! Somebody who gets me AND my body type. I have always had a struggle with my weight, and my thyroid problems did not make it any easier to lose/maintain weight loss. In September 2015, I did a search for personal trainers in the San Antonio area and found Tommy Lammers; Owner/personal trainer of Beast Fitness.. I mean, the name alone is worth a consult. When I went for my consult, I didn't know what to expect and this bearded guy with tattoos walks over to introduce himself... I'm thinking, "oh yeah, he's bad a**". I was so impressed with his professionalism and willingness to get to know the client. He does a comprehensive interview in order to assess your health and fitness goals and develops a nutrition and exercise plan specifically for YOU; because he understands that everyone is not the same. He really cares about his clients. I was so impressed that he took it upon himself to actually research my health condition so that he could develop the best plan for optimal results. Since training with Tommy, I have learned to let go of the scale, really look at myself and take note what I am actually accomplishing. I have worn clothes that I haven't worn in years, and some that I have NEVER been able to wear. The affect that he has had on my mental health is incredible---even says my mother and my brother---If you seriously want to make a lifestyle change and feel better than ever, he IS the one to call. Not only will you adopt healthy lifestyle changes, but the new physical aesthetic that you can achieve will blow your mind...The best part---you'll gain an awesome friend.

Victoria is an Amazing Personal Trainer!! She is hard working, Always Changing up the workout sessions to make it fun and interesting! She understands the needs and abilities of her clients, I myself have Spina Bifida and had limited leg mobility when we first started and used the wheelchair always, now I use my Walking Caine more often instead of being just bound to my chair. When I started with her I was wearing a size 44 jeans which were starting to fit tight and also wearing a size 3 XL! Now I'm down to wearing a size 38 jeans and 1x-2x shirt :-D, I have lost a total of 75 lbs. and still continuing to lose more. Victoria is Very Helpfull with sending out Tasty Weekly Meal ideas for weight loss help, and on my off days she sends me workout plans to do on my own in between our Energetic and Awesome Sessions! She is a Certified Personal Trainer and A Specialist in Fitness Nutrition and knows her stuff!! I don't know any other Trainer who is as passionate for their "job" as Victoria! I put "job" in quotes because she really makes you feel like a friend not just a workout session :-D
Active and healthy lifestyle has always been part of me! But all this had new meaning, when I started to train with Neha. She demonstrated the benefits of strength training in a way that changed my outlook on fitness. Under her training, I lost all my post-pregnancy flab, strengthened my knees and became toned and fit. She was thorough in her assessment of my goals (strength & toning), my medical history (weak knees), my schedule (full-time working mother of two), my current exercise habits, my diet (vegetarian) and eating habits, and all things affecting my workouts. She was flexible and accommodate of my work-home schedule. What makes her stand out from the rest of the personal trainers is her pleasant, unassuming personality and her sincere desire to help you achieve your goals. She excels in customizing the workouts for you and brings in a ton of variety (weights, bands, your own body weight, exercise ball, step,..)) to your workout routines. All these qualities makes her an exceptional personal trainer! I have been training with her for well over six years. She doesn't cease to amaze me. Recently, my teenage daughter, who plays basketball, started strength training with her!
I have had nothing but great experiences working with Kenneth and Pure Ambition. As someone who had not worked out regularly in years, Kenneth's style of training fit me perfectly. He presented exercises to help me reach my personal goals and even more. He always challenges you with things you may not think you can do, yet he will be there right beside you encouraging you to push through and even working out along side you. Kenneth is great with coming up with modified exercises to accommodate your level of fitness or other injuries and health issues. He will even assist you with a healthy meal regime. I would suggest him to anyone willing to do the work!
He is very knowledgeable in all things fitness! He listens to the goals I want to achieve and during every session he explains how that day's workout will help my body acheive those goals. He is very imformative in the anatomical structure of the body. I am usually not a gym person, but he does a good job in creating a comfortable environment. Every session is very individualized. He also provided me with a nutrition sheet that was easy to understand so I can track my macros. Most importantly his availability is very flexible with my schedule.
Before I met Chris I worked with several trainers over the years. When I started working with Chris I could tell right away that I found a very unique trainer. The fitness regimen with advice and planning on diet started to show results right away. He clearly has a solid understanding of how to intelligently structure workouts for specific goals - it is not in any way the standard one workout for all. He takes the time to track progress and use that data to further refine the workouts. His methodology has clearly worked - at 38 years old I am now in the best shape of my life.
Richard is an excellent personal physical fitness trainer. I had a pulled muscle in my back and I needed to get into shape, so I could join my kids on our family ski vacation. I was telling this to a friend of mine (who I noticed was looking slimmer!) and she told me that she was working with Richard and gave me his info. When I first started with Richard, I could hardly do anything, but by the time I got to the slopes. I dominated! I had the best time! I totally believe that his attention to details, his personally designed work out for me, and his positive attitude, was the key to getting me back in shape and working out my back problems. I completely recommend Richard as a personal trainer.
Dave is an awesome personal trainer. He is dedicated to helping you reach your fitness goals, which includes pushing you to follow an appropriate nutritional plan. Dave is very knowledgeable about the science behind fitness, and his workout plans are appropriately planned and will leave you feel accomplished after each session (even though they are exhausting!). I was very hesitant to get a personal trainer at first, but Dave has made it an awesome experience. My goal has been to put on mass, and through a few months of training with him, I now weigh the most I've weighed in my life and am the strongest I've ever been. I would recommend Dave to anyone who is looking for a trainer that is personable and helps you achieve your fitness and nutritional goals. If you want to be pushed to reaching these goals, Dave is your guy!

David pushed me in a positive, encouraging way; he had the answers to every fitness/nutrition question I could think of, he even had fresh bananas on hand for after the workout! I came across Survival of the Fittest during a critical time in my life. I was in a transition period both personally and professionally and needed a fitness regime to help me tone up and reduce my stress. A friend recommended Donna Gordon, owner of Survival of the Fittest Personal Training. Coach Donna and I clicked from day one. During our 5 am sessions, she was prompt, cheerful and always motivated me to reach my goals. Coach Donna helped me recognize poor eating habits that were sabotaging my results. Overall, this was an excellent experience and Coach Donna is an awesome trainer that will get you the results if you put in the work.
