She is a wonderful trainer! We have two rescues and our female had a lot of anxiety issues and other issues we couldn't figure out on our own. Our male had a few things we wanted to improve on as well. She did a terrific job explaining everything. I loved having homework because I was able to work with my dogs on my own daily. She would meet me at locations to practice and work on the things we wanted to improve with our dogs. I learned a lot about my dogs body language and what to do and not to do. She really helped my dogs a lot and I couldn't be more thankful! All training takes times and patience. It all has to be done in baby steps. Our dogs are doing wonderful and I am so glad I met her and my dogs love her! I def. recommend her and I called several other trainers too, but she stuck out to me. She is the best trainer I recommend anyone to her! She taught me a lot!

I am a small animal veterinarian in the North Texas area and have been practicing for 23 years. Kathrine Breeden was not only a client at my clinic. She was a tremendous source for my other clients whose pets had behavioral issues or needed training. She was kind, gentle, patient and always honest with the owners about their pets progress. I wholeheartedly support her training methods that are completely pain free and based on positive reinforcement only. She would often take the time to just offer me advice that I could pass on to other clients about their pets. She also provided training and material to my staff about basics like housetraining , crate training and basic behavior. This allows them to better educate new puppy owners. We miss Kathrine every day and would welcome her back with open arms if she were ever to move back to Texas!

Kathrine Breeden literally saved our dogs life! We have a perfectly behaved 7 year old Hungarian Vizsla - 99% of the time, but Diesel had bitten twice, and it was when this happened a third time and we had taken the agonizing decision to have him euthanized that by chance we found Kathrine. The extraordinary thing about our relationship with Kathrine is that she has never met Diesel, because we live 5,000miles away from her in France! She has been working with us for several months now and Diesels behaviour has changed dramatically. Kathrine has a profound understanding of dogs and their behaviour, and an abundance of knowledge and experience. Her clear and positive approach enables us to take and follow her verbal instructions over the phone and with the help of video clips, pictures and written articles which she sends to us via e-mail, together we have been able to identify Diesels problems and make massive improvements in his behaviour. I would highly recommend Kathrine and her techniques.

I am constantly reading journals and books, attending seminars & webinars & workshops. I will be attending the Pet Professional Guild annual Summit in Tampa, Florida in November (3 full days) and the Society for the Promotion of Applied Research in Canine Science conference in November (3 full days). My accreditation with Pet Professional Guild stipulates continuing education be achieved every year.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been pretty much obsessed with dogs but had never had the luxury of working with them until I moved from London to Dallas TX and married my husband. Having had a long career in corporate life it was time for a change! I started working in a doggy daycare facility and was fortunate enough to be mentored by a Certified Professional Dog Trainer who encouraged me to study and learn how to become a trainer myself. I have attended countless seminars, conferences, webinars and workshops and now give educational events myself to veterinarian offices, groomers and rescue groups.
