Ross did not supervise the project. The bid did not include timelines for payment or completion. Ross only returned to collect payment or when demanded to view incorrectly completed items. This had 2 existing walls of the house and two walls to be built, the patio concrete torn out and replaced, the roof gabled and installed, screens to be installed, tile flooring to be installed, gutters to be removed and reinstalled, and painting the exterior and interior of the screened patio. The 2 built walls are not at a 90 degree angle causing a gap at the corner between the outside trim. The screens had extra screen material past the frame that was not trimmed. The wood for the roof and trim was cut with a hand saw and was either too long, causing buckling (not flat) or too long leaving gaps. The roof nails did not always go into the wood and we had to complain to get the nails in the ceiling trimmed off to not poke out from the underside of the roof. The crew violently ripped out the existing gutters and trim, leaving holes in the eaves, which took Ross 4 months to repair the hole in eaves. The downspouts were not sealed and were pouring out water around the joints, with the gutters leaking water between the house and gutters. The patio was not level and the 2nd and 3rd attempts to level the patio for installing the tile used self-leveling concrete without an adhesive to attach the concrete to the previously poured concrete. Ross and his flooring contractor wanted to install luxury vinyl planking in the screened patio that would have violated the warranty, indicating no knowledge of what flooring could be used outside. After 3 attempts to level the patio unsuccessfully and receiving 90% of the total price, Ross texted that he was quitting and calling it even. I had to pay over $5,500 to a true tiling installer to rip out the self-leveling concrete, level the patio, and install porcelain tile rated for exterior usage around pools. I had to pay to someone else to finish painting, sealing the holes around the patio, redoing the exterior trim, reattaching the gutters to the house and sealing the downspouts to not leak.
