Our granddaughter is a few weeks into her lessons with Dave (DC's Drum Lessons). Our experience with him, from our initial contact through thumbtack, to our face to face consultation with him has been both professional and personable. Dave is an extremely talented and accomplished drummer. His passion for music is made clear through the way that he teaches. His ability to keep our granddaughters drum lessons "fun" has made her want to continue to play. If you're looking for a teacher that wants to see your child (or you) succeed at becoming an incredible drummer, Dave will give you the tools and the direction to accomplish that. We are beyond pleased with his reasonable rates, and his genuine desire to share his AMAZING talent with others.

I have hired Stephen Hughes in three different capacities. I hired him to teach my drum line for marching band season, and then hired him to teach private lessons to a group of students. I have also hired to him to perform with a professional wind orchestra as a percussionist. He is an outstanding educator with a very thorough understanding of how to communicate with students, how to work with colleagues, and how to develop and implement a plan. His pedagogy is sound, and his results are thorough. As a performer, he is very trustworthy on all different elements of the percussion section. His rehearsal demeanor is impeccable, and his preparation skills are thorough. He can be trusted implicitly as a performer and educator.

Richard was an incredible teacher. His facilities are great and he does a really good job of catering to the students needs and ideas on the drums. I just wish I could have taken lessons longer with him.

I've been a student of Heath's for three years, and I could not ask for a better teacher. Whatever you want to learn, whether it be jazz, rock, or latin, Heath is very knowledgeable in all forms of drumming. Lesson times are very flexible, and can change to fit into your schedule, not the other way around. Overall, Heath provides excellent, specific instruction catered to what you as an individual want to learn.

The most valuable thing I learned during our lessons was how to learn music. How to take a piece, divide it into sections and set attainable goals to learn that piece on my timeline. These lessons also greatly prepared me for college auditions and most often the conversations we had were more valuable than the playing we did. Just having someone who could answer any questions I had about percussion technique or which piece I should be playing or what I should expect in college was very meaningful and helpful to me.

Jordon and staff have been wonderful. They have been willing to work around my work schedule and sensitive to my music goals and tastes. I am also really impressed with their skills. These boys know their craft and it shows with their explanation of music theory and technique. I also like how the lessons have been set up. I learn technical skills and also learn to play songs that I will be playing for years to come ( America - if I can ever master that GMaj7 Chord, Fleetwood Mac, Santana etc...) Very impressed by how fast they take your from novice to playing songs you know and love. Thank you. - Now, if On Chord would Add some bass and drums we could put together a band!

My son loved taking drum lessons with Nate! He gave him fun, but challenging beats to learn that were impressive to all who heard him play. Nate is kind and patient with my son. He was also really helpful in helping us tune our drum set and helped us find a good affordable set to purchase.

About

I have been playing drums and guitar for about 45 years. I started when I was 5 years old. My dad was a professional musician. He made about 4 albums at Capitol Records with Tommy Sands! I know a few musicians, like Hal Blaine, John Denver and Frankie Avalon. I play all styles of music on the drums and guitar. Thank you for reading!
