Hans is an amazing producer and so much fun to work with! I highly recommend him for any audio projects at all! We worked together on my audio book as well as my podcast and he made my job EASY, taking the stress out of it! :) Thanks, Hans!

Hans was great to work with. It was my first time making an audio book, and he helped me feel comfortable with the process. I wanted/needed my book recorded as soon as possible. Five days after submitting my request for a producer, Hans had a finished product for me. He was excellent to work with because he was clear in his expectations and follow through, and he made effort to understand my goals and what I wanted to achieve with my project, while offering suggestions to help make the end results as nice as possible. Hans had a competitor who offered me a free first recording. They were one of the first ones to contact me after sending out my request, and being on a tight budget I agreed to go with their services. However, it was less than 24 hours later when I made the decision I would rather pay Hans and receive his quality work rather than deal with his competitor's lack of attention to my specific needs, and their flippant attitude about a project that is very dear to me. I appreciate Hans, his work ethics, and his recording talent. If my book does not sell, it will not be because of the sound quality. If my book sells, I'm returning to Hans for more audio sessions.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am constantly on the lookout for news, new works, performances, and new techniques in the music world. My daily research generally consists of personal score study, tinkering with the many instruments laying around the house, listening to new music, and frequenting new music media sources like soundnotion.tv and newmusicbox.org.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

For as long as I can remember I've been doing something musical. When I started my undergrad I thought I was going to study cognitive neuropsychology with a minor in music. After the first semester I realized that the classes I was most passionate about were my music classes. I decided that it would be better for me to pursue something I was passionate about instead of something I was only mildly interested in, and I've been focusing on my music ever since.
