I really enjoyed having a personal, one- on- one self defense lesson with Mr. Z. He arrived on time and prepared with equipment and supplemental material. He is upbeat, efficient, and professional. I honestly feel more confident after working with him. I am absolutely recommending his individual lessons to my friends. Z effidiciously taught me enough to feel confident to defend myself against the bad guys. If you're considering taking self- defense classes, consider the value of having a personalized lesson with Mr Z as opposed to the cost and commitment of signing up for a series of several classes.

First, Let me just say I love the service Glatter Fitness provides so much I did a video testimonial! I am in the best shape of my life, I am happier, healthier, and stronger. I never really put much stock in strength training (weights and kettlebells) as a method to lose weight for fear it would make me "bulky" but it is actually quite the opposite. I have lost weight, I am stronger than I ever thought possible, and have lowered some health risks, which before starting were an issue for me. Michael always answers questions I have rather knowledgeably. He is far more knowledgeable than some other personal trainers I have encountered and can even provide me a source for the information he gives. If you are willing to put forth the hard work, actually come and work out, and follow his food guide, you will make improvements. I went from doing push ups on my knees to being able to do one hand push ups. I can lift weights in excess of 150 pounds. I have a smaller waist size and far better endurance. As far as accessibility, he does not limit when you can come, which I love. He has 5 class times throughout the day so it allows for flexibility. I don't foresee any time in the future where Glatter Fitness will not be in my life. When I say I am in some of the best shape of my life, I mean it in every way possible. I owe all this to Glatter Fitness!
I worked out with Soup for a few months and then moved elsewhere and I wish that there was a Soup here! He is hands down on of the best trainers that I have worked with. As a former collegiate athlete, I have had a lot of trainers in my life and I can say that Soup has been the best. He not only managed what workouts that I would do, he managed my eating habits and how to get me back on track. He is very motivating and fun! He really cares about you personally and if anything is affecting you, he is the first one to ask. He focuses on what you want to change about your body and makes it a priority to help you. Soup isn't only focused on you when you are in your sessions, he follows up and holds you accountable outside the workout.
I've been working with Denise in her studio for a month now, twice a week, and making great progress. Denise is awesome! She has the knowledge and skills of a physical therapist, fitness trainer, and personal coach, all in one. Justin has been my Personal Trainer since October of 2016. We have averaged 2 sessions a week over this period. In my late 30's, as a new dad, I decided it was time to reclaim my fitness. Justin has helped me do it in ways I never expected. Improving my posture and "curving" in all my lifting movements has allowed me to increase strength while reducing recovery time. I no longer have the back pains that were a constant for five years prior. Justin has a unique ability to push me beyond my mental limits- stretch my own tolerance for discomfort. When I am traveling and working out a hotel gyms, I find it much easier to put together a routine with limited resources. Additionally, I find myself pushing harder than I can remember without any prompting. I wasn't looking for a quick fix, although I'm sure Justin could facilitate some impressive 1-2 month results. I wanted a guide to safely increasing strength, building routine, and instilling discipline in my exercise.
I can't begin to describe how great Rachaad Is. You will see results and you won't be disappointed. But the awesome part is - he keeps you motivated. He believes in you when you don't think you can and he let's you know it. He just doesn't give up on you. And his optimistic attitude helps keep you focused on the goal. After three months, I have upper body strength for the first time in my life (I have never been able to do push-ups before now). He listens to you when you tell him something doesn't feel right, hurts, or is straining; and he changes the game plan while still achieving the end goal. Incredible trainer.
I’ve been working with Evala for over three years now. The reason I’ve been working with her for this length of time, and will continue to do so, is because if the results I’ve seen in my life. In our meetings, Evala is professional and at the same time I feel like I’m talking with a great friend. No matter what I share with her, I am met with understanding and offered suggestions for opportunities to grow. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried and we’ve dug deep. I didn’t know what to expect at first. I've been training with Nate several times a week for over 5 years, and I couldn't be more pleased with my progress, fitness level (strength, duration, flexibility), and the ongoing challenge and diversity of workouts -- they're never boring and incorporate strength, stability and core, time under tension, and functional training for every part of my body. In addition, Nate's a nice guy with a great sense of humor, so the workouts are tough but enjoyable. After his initial assessment, he continued to take the time to get know me individually and has a vested interest in my health, well being, strengths, and weaknesses (he enjoys identifying and having me work on my weaknesses!). Nate works hard with each of his clients and he customizes each workout for their individual needs and goals. In the 5+ years I've trained with him, Nate has never been late or missed a workout -- even in snowstorms! When I need to change a training appointment, Nate works very hard to find a time that is mutually beneficial. Finding the right personal trainer that had the proper knowledge, experience, equipment, interpersonal skills, and motivation to align with mine was tough; and I couldn't be happier to have found Nate. My investment in training with him has been more than worth it: I'm in great physical shape, my doctor asks if I've found the fountain of youth, and I've made a good friend in the process.
