Latest Review: What I like about Rudio Studio is that you do not have to pay him upfront. And for $30 an hour you really can get some productive studio time. Rudio Studio does not mix or master though. His specialty really is capturing vocals. You will have to take the track to someone who does mix and master. But you end up saving a lot of money because ideally you want to send your track elsewhere anywhere; to get multiple perspectives. So I recommend Rudio Studio; get all the recordings you want to do vocally; once you think your vocals are clean; send it elsewhere to be designed....

Latest Review: Paola has been a great instructor! As an adult, it's a pleasure re-learning the piano and Paola has been a huge help. She has been teaching me not only the fundamentals of learning how to play piano but also music theory to grasp the overall concept. I would highly recommend her for students of all ages.

Latest Review: I had a piano lesson with Bryce. It was fantastic. I have been playing piano for a couple of years teaching myself. I can honestly say I learned more in our one lesson than I had in those two years. Bryce was so easy to work with and was constructive without ever being condescending or putting pressure on me. He gave general information to me and then let me apply it in a way that made sense. All in all, the experience was wonderful.

About: I am a piano teacher who is qualified to teach students of all ages and levels. I received graduate degrees in piano performance from the University of Tennessee and Florida State University. Lessons are held once a week at my home studio in the Museum District. Depending on the age and level of the student, a 30 min, 45 min, or 60 min lesson is offered. Students will learn different repertoire, theory, and sight-reading in each weekly lesson. In my piano studio, students have the opportunity to participate in local music festivals and competitions organized by the Richmond Music Teacher Association. There are also two recitals a year where the students will be able to perform for family and friends. I will be happy to schedule a trial lesson and meet with you.

Latest Review: My 5th grade son has been studying piano with Karmalita since 1st grade. She is incredibly patient, kind and encouraging while also being a stickler about the things that matter. Her love of music and teaching is infectious and infuses the time she spends with her students. My son participates in many other activities as well, so we have chosen not to focus on piano to the exclusion of other things. Karmalita has been very understanding about this decision, and takes him just as seriously as she always has. She expects him to work on his material until it is both technically solid and musically beautiful, but she NEVER pressures our family to make him do more than what works for us. Consequently, I have a son who practices most days, makes steady progress through the Suzuki books, plays well, and loves it! We have had other music teachers in the past (piano, flute and violin) but none so all-around wonderful as Karmalita. I would highly recommend her to any family with a child of any age who wants to learn piano!

Latest Review: I'm going on week four of guitar lessons with Olivier, and the fact that he hasn't given up on me nor have I thrown in the towel, is a testament to his skill as a teacher. His ability to listen once to any song I choose and one break it down for me into its requisite chords in manageable pieces is not only impressive but inspiring, and makes my lessons tailored to my individual taste in music. He's patient, easy going, and very professional which is a great combination in a music teacher.
