I am VERY Pro---the Orton Gillingham technique. Long ago, when I was a kid, in the 70's, I did not know how to read, and unfortunately I fell through the cracks with methods that did not work for me. But, finally in 4th grade, I got an Orton Gillingham tutor, and I did miraculously, with this technique . I was a struggling kid, academically, who then went on to do really well in high school, and went to a really great college (Oberlin), and then Graduate School (NYU). I don't mean to brag, but my point is, I believe in this technique, and Stacy is FANTASTIC !!! She is the best....worth every penny, but have your kid do the homework."See more
