Mr. Frampton has been tutoring me in Math (Algebra and Geometry)for a few years and I can say that he's definitely the best Math tutor I've ever had. When I first started working with him, I was terrible in math and didn't have any confidence in my abilities but he was patient with me and cared about making sure I succeeded. He's very knowledgeable and explains everything step by step in a way that I was able to understand. With his help, I've passed tests and received A's in my college courses in math. I've never failed with him and any time I need help in math, he's my go to person. His tutoring has given me the ability to believe that I can be successful in a subject that once wasn't one of my strong suits. Not only is he an excellent tutor, he's a nice person and has a great sense of humor. During our sessions, I would be stressed out but he always knows how to make me laugh and that would help to ease my mind. I would recommend him to anyone who is having difficulty in math.
I am very happy with the tutoring we received from Arbor Tutors. They have thousands of tutors all over the country. They can come to your house or offer online services. We tried both and I prefer online. Both are excellent choices.
I had the pleasure of working with Bruce as he helped me improve my college algebra grade from a D to a B. Bruce was always on time and frequently stayed extra, always making sure that I understood whatever principle I needed to complete my assignment(s). He was able to explain concepts in a way that I could understand. Bottom line Bruce is an awesome tutor and I would not hesitate to work with him in the future
Jamie Lou is an excellent teacher. She teaches my children French once a week. They are making great progress and look forward to their lesson every week. She uses games, songs and videos to engage them in learning and speaking French. I am so glad I found her. She also advertises on Universitytutor.com and tutorselect.com, if you want to read her profiles there; they're excellent. Jamie got her teaching degree from University of Michigan and she holds her teaching license in French and Spanish in Virginia. I would definitely recommend that you hire her to be your tutor.
Hey was very helpful and made things simple for me! I will def use him again!
David is certainly effective; within just two sessions of tutoring I was scoring dozens of points higher on tests and quizzes, with one quiz even scoring 53 points more than the original! In addition to his effective teaching methods, having a relaxed, yet focused professional (as opposed to a hurried and intimidating teacher) made the idea of learning and understanding math much more approachable to me. Another fantastic quality of his tutoring services is that he doesn't stop helping when the tutoring session ends- he will continue to look over copies of your work, work further on problems gone unanswered in the sessions, and provide answers to the questions of students over e-mail and facebook. That in itself makes me more comfortable knowing that he is a dedicated professional. I am confident that I have a reliable source from which I can get super awesome math help. A+ tutor.
George is a great tutor. Earlier this semester, I was struggling in Stats. I knew George did a lot of tutoring, so I decided to ask for help. He explains the work in an easy to understand way. He doesn't just do the work for you - he helps in a way that allows me to do my own work and figure things out myself with his guidance. He gives background information on the material and makes sure you understand what and why you are doing the problem, so that you can complete it easily. I know I WILL be getting tutored by him again.

I am 22 years old, and I have 3 small children. Math and English are my specialties. I am very good at both. By my sophomore year in high school, I was taking college-level classes in both subjects. I love math and am very good at helping children learn. I have worked with both dyslexic and autistic children.
I believe that I bring a combination of expertise as well as enjoyment to my tutoring, and make the experience feel more like structured play than tedious learning.
