CLASS ACT LLC planned my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary and my experience working with them was awesome! Class Act provided full service catering, decorations, and bartending services and there is nothing bad that I can say. The decor in the venue was beautiful and well beyond what I envisioned. There were no details left undone. The food was seasoned and presented well, and our two signature drinks provided by bmyxdrinks were outstanding. I definitely will be using them for my future events.They were a joy to work with!

Amazing food, amazing presentation, amazing prices, amazing service, & amazing cook. My 1st wedding caterer bailed on me last minute so I was in a rush to find someone and reasonable priced. Jason came to our house for the tasting and cooked us dinner which turned out to be a great experience on its own. A personal chef at home! We had a menu previously picked out so he did what he could to match it and it turned out even better than the first caterer. We also had items brought in from another source since we wanted a few traditional filipino dishes and he was happy to accommodate with those as well. He actually offered to cook those items himself as he had the experience but my grandmother insisted on her own which was fine either way. My grandmother also made a very, very last minute upgrade to the salmon (which was a big hit) & he made it happen for her. We also requested a specific salad we loved and he matched it with an amazing custom strawberry vinnegrette dressing that made it even better. The items we ordered were the applewood smoked bbq chicken thighs, creamy pesto shrimp pasta (my favorite) white mac & cheese (my husbands favorite & best mac n cheese i think I've ever had), grilled veggies, salad, & rolls. When first looking at the menu I thought it might not be wedding material and might be too casual but Jason puts an elegant twist to each dish and presents well. Don't be discouraged by his laid back approach as a tailgater. Which I'm sure he can do just as great. He does cook on site with his huge grill, so the food is nice and fresh for your guests. His easy going attitude and workability made being a stressful bride on a budget and time limit very comforting. I don't know Jason outside of this event but I would recommend him to anyone planning a party big or small.

Jason was awesome! To start with, he worked with us to give me exactly what I wanted for my wedding that fit my budget, including a caramel apple bar. He came all the way from Williamsburg, VA to Currituck, NC to cook for us so we could sample his food before making a decision. He cooked two different meals and we loved them both, but decided to go with the pork dish. Jason is a great communicator and promptly answered any questions I had throughout the wedding planning process. He was able to accommodate the guest count change I had, days before the wedding (it increased from 80 guests to 90) and even reminded me of some small details I had forgotten in all the chaos of planning a wedding. Jason and his assistants showed up at a reasonable hour the day of the wedding and I did not have to instruct them in any way. I confidently left to get ready for the wedding knowing they would have everything perfect for the reception. The guests raved about how delicious the food was, and the caramel apple bar was a hit! His assistants were so incredible in that they helped everyone make their caramel apples, cleared away dirty dishes, and assisted in serving cake to the guests. They went above and beyond what I was expecting out of this catering service. I cannot recommend Alpha Pitt Smokers enough. Jason and his crew are prepared - rain or shine - for whatever your special day has to offer; this was especially important since my day was full of rain. Please contact Jason as soon as possible and I can assure you, you won't regret it. He is warm, funny, and goes out of his way to make sure your day is perfect.

I had the pleasure of working with Event Decor Galore on a recent wedding where I performed as a Dj. Having experienced first hand what it is like to work with different event planners, I can't say this was one of the best experiences I've ever had. From the very start Senithia was actively involved in making sure her client's needs were being met. I was delivered detailed timelines and diagrams for the event so I was totally prepared to do my job. Everything was extremely well organized and her attention to detail was spectacular. I heard from the Bride that EDG was able to capture their vision within their budget with some "creative" ingenuity as well as by pulling in a few industry favors! I normally dont write reviews, but I had to and speak on an exceptional experience. Don't think... just book!

My Elegant Occasion did my wedding centerpieces/ table décor which came out very nicely for my Great Gatsby styled wedding. All items were provided as discussed and set up in time for the reception. Arrival time was late which caused a bit of stress on the wedding day but the finished product came out great and I couldn't have thought of a better way to have my reception decorated.

Booking Mirna was the best thing I ever could have done. I knew I didn't have the budget to afford a $1,000 day-of wedding planner. I knew I needed someone newer in the industry, who wasn't charging triple digits. I stumbled across Mirna, and booked her. There's always that slight fear in the back of your mind when you're booking someone on the cheaper side, and/or who is newer to the industry. People say "you get what you pay for". So there was a part of me that was still a little nervous. At the time, I was living in DC, and commuting back and forth to Richmond for anything pertaining to my wedding (that's where my wedding would be). She made everything so easy on me. We met face to face a few times and she always came prepared with a list of things to ask. She was on top of everything before I even was - and i'm a pretty "Type-A" planner - so I thought I was really on top of stuff, haha. She created the most amazing timeline for me and my family, she contacted my vendors and my bridal party and got them all the information they needed and told them to contact her for stuff, not me. She did everything. She ran the rehearsal, made sure everyone was where they needed to be for the ceremony, and she helped set up my tables at the reception and made sure everything looked perfect. I kid you not - my wedding was flawless. I can't believe it. Something was supposed to go wrong, right? Thats what everyone told me, and I was prepared to "just let it go". But nothing went wrong. And if at any point something DID go wrong, or sh*t DID hit the fan, then Mirna must have handled it because I never found out about it. My wedding was perfect. Nothing went wrong. Mirna is so nice! She is so easy to get along with, and when we had our meetings, it felt more like a coffee date with a close friend. She makes you feel so special. At one point I remember thinking, "theres no way she's working with any other brides right now because she makes me feel like i'm the ONLY one in the world!". Which I knew wasn't true :) I highly recommend that anyone book Mirna. I have already referred her to a few of my friends. She is smart, organized, and incredibly capable. She will streamline your wedding and keep you stressfree - because you should not be overwhelmed on the most exciting day of your life. BOOK MIRNA!!! :)

We hired Mirna for our Sept 19, 2015 wedding as a month-of planner. She was AMAZING - do NOT hesitate to use her. Despite her being new to the wedding planning industry she is experienced with other types of event planning before starting this, and her family is involved in the wedding industry in multiple ways, so the understands how all this stuff works. She worked relentlessly to take the load off my husband and I. Everything went off without a hitch - we had a couple small bumps but they were my fault and Mirna quietly scrambled to fix them without complaining. For example, I totally forgot to bring the table numbers and somehow when I walked into the reception area, Mirna had found and made table numbers! I still have no idea how she had time to do this! I'm sure I botched a few more things that she had to smooth over at the last minute too. She was constantly in touch with my mother and bridesmaids working together with them and asking them questions to avoid bothering me on the wedding day. And we had a VERY unusual wedding party and family dynamics that she had to navigate. I am one of six, my husband is one of eight, so we put them all in our bridal party PLUS seven friends each. I didn't know how badly we needed a planner until we got her - I'm a pretty organized person and even I couldn't have pulled this off alone. She is fantastic!

Latoya was a great assistance leading up to and the day off the wedding. She was always available for questions, issues, or just to provide support amongst all the stress of being a bride-to-be. Latoya attended every meeting with us yet gave my husband and I our space to be able to enjoy the moments. She kept me on budget (which can be a tough thing) and was a great sounding board for ideas. The day of my wedding, she was there first thing in the morning to check in on how I was doing and took care of a lot of little things that needed to be completed. She kept me informed on how things were going at the reception location and the church but also kept some things quiet so that it would be a surprise. Latoya kept my wedding party on time and on target, and the transition from the church to the reception was seamless. Latoya was completely on point for all things, all day. She made sure the photographers were capturing the right moments, the other vendors were on time and setup correctly, and even watched over myself and my husband by making sure we had food and drink. She stayed late to ensure the location was spotless and that all of decorations and other personal items were accounted for and secure. She even picked up my husband's tux the next day and ensured it arrived safely and on time back to the store. Her attention to detail and overall dedication to making that day special to me made her an awesome choice as a wedding coordinator. I felt valued as a bride and a person and can't image not having here there. Latoya's passion for her work shows in every interaction, every detail, and I am happy to have worked with her.

Pleasant Planning was the first vendor I booked after I got engaged. Hiring Latoya was the best decision we made! She guided me through the whole wedding process. She helped me book all of the vendors for my wedding with ease. One thing that I greatly appreciated was how honest Latoya was. She was very straight forward with what would and would not work. My entire experience with A Perfect Day Events was just that “A perfect day.” When preparing an important event there are so many details and things to remember. Not to mention, knowing how to put it all together in the time allotted with really reasonable prices! With this company you get a lot more bang for your buck! I had a bridal shower and wedding for very little money in comparison to others. Both events were carefully planned and designed, and looked amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Autumn's! I started planning an event back in January, and the event took place this past Saturday. From the very start, Claudine was extremely helpful, responsive, and provided a ton of menu options to accommodate my budget. Upon booking, she was equally responsive and helpful when I had random questions between January and the event itself. On Saturday, Claudine and her staff arrived to the venue in advance of their expected time, and both were courteous and friendly to myself and all of the guests. The brunch buffet set up was BEAUTIFUL, and the food received rave reviews for taste, quality, quantity, and presentation. Best part is folks were fighting over who could take the left overs home as Claudine neatly boxed them all up for us to divvy out, so there was no food waste whatsoever. I would most certainly book with Autumn's again as it was a fantastic experience. Service is top notch, food quality is fantastic, and the staff are just SUPER sweet all for a competitive price compared to the 4 or 5 other area caterers I contacted! I highly recommend Autumn's for your next event!
