We hired Ephraim for some home projects which included flooring, wall painting and bar top removal. The project started off good but soon turned sour when we realized they don’t really listen to what you are asking for and the project manage Dagmo was never there to monitor his team, so his crew would just do things as they wish. We asked for very specific type of paint sheen and quality type because we were expecting a newborn, but they swapped to a completely different paint. There were paint drips on our white trim and the paint lines were VERY off and sloppy. They removed the bar top but we had to wait for weeks for them to finally finish the tore down area of the counter with a back panel. When they finally put the back panel of the counter on, they measured it wrong and left a huge gap (about 1/2” ) in between the panel and wall. Then they just fill the gap up with some filler. They put a “white” base trim in the kitchen under the cabinets when we didn’t ask them to. That wouldn’t be a problem except the cabinets and the flooring are wood... we asked them to remove it and they did, but they left all the nails for us as a gift. We asked them to put in new base trims, but they just stapled it in without filling in the nail holes with the wood filler. That should be given. Since their main specialty is flooring you would assume that’s what they do best. But apparently not. There are areas where you can see the floor has ripples, as it seems the machine they use went too deep and didn’t do a smooth job. It’s hard to show a photo for this one. They also finished the flooring with out taking off our wall base heaters. If they needed us to take it off our selves we would have done so if they have told us. We are new homeowners and we didn’t know any better. We rely on experts tell us what to do. Other contractors we later hired would tell us, you will have to do this or that to prep. I really think Dagmo just took on this project and threw this to his crew and too lazy to monitor for quality control. They took advantage of us thinking we don’t know any better and just leave things half done for us to finish up. I wouldn’t recommend they at all.
