Mr. Frampton has been tutoring me in Math (Algebra and Geometry)for a few years and I can say that he's definitely the best Math tutor I've ever had. When I first started working with him, I was terrible in math and didn't have any confidence in my abilities but he was patient with me and cared about making sure I succeeded. He's very knowledgeable and explains everything step by step in a way that I was able to understand. With his help, I've passed tests and received A's in my college courses in math. I've never failed with him and any time I need help in math, he's my go to person. His tutoring has given me the ability to believe that I can be successful in a subject that once wasn't one of my strong suits. Not only is he an excellent tutor, he's a nice person and has a great sense of humor. During our sessions, I would be stressed out but he always knows how to make me laugh and that would help to ease my mind. I would recommend him to anyone who is having difficulty in math.
Wonderful one on one learning experience from a very kind and educated spanish tutor / teacher. Her way of teaching spanish is much easier to understand yet very effective for anyone who has never spoken spanish.
I needed help with the GMAT. I am very impressed with the quality of tutoring I received given the low price. Arbor Tutors is amazing! I would highly recommend their services to anybody looking for expert help.
My daughter has been working with VB Writing Tutoring for almost two months now. She understands the teenage brain and works to keep them on task. I would recommend using her in the future.
She is a very great math tutor, and goes in depth when explaining how to approach each problem so that I was able to understand how to do it.
Kathy has been a wonderful tutor for both my daughters, ages 14 and 16. She is able to connect and build a relationship with her students that builds confidence while they are learning, whether in Spanish 1 or Spanish 3. I highly recommend her for tutoring. Her knowledge and fluency is exceptional while still being able to meet the child where they are in their knowledge. My children's grades improved tremendously with her help. Thank you Kathy!
I hired Candy to help my nephew in math. He's had other tutors but wasn't making much progress. He immediately took to Candy and is very excited about learning again and working with her. Thank you Candy for making learning fun for him.
Mr. Joe Smyder provided my son with excellent tutoring in algebra II. While his teacher at school was not able to convey the necessary instruction for fully grasping the material Joe was able make that challenging material understandable! I am highly recommending him to anyone who requires additional high school math support!

I am a student at William and Mary studying linguistics and Spanish. I have been playing piano for 10 years and teaching lessons for 5. I have also played guitar for 5 years and taught lessons for 3. In addition, I have experience tutoring youth of all ages, from elementary school to high school. I would say Spanish is my specialty; my knowledge is extensive, especially instructing at the introductory level. I am a straight A student and am competent to tutor most subjects, but I also have particular previous experience in Algebra. Though I am skilled in presenting material from a textbook or workbook clearly along the format of the class, I also enjoy coming up with creative methods for teaching and tutoring and designing my own exercises.
I am 22 years old, and I have 3 small children. Math and English are my specialties. I am very good at both. By my sophomore year in high school, I was taking college-level classes in both subjects. I love math and am very good at helping children learn. I have worked with both dyslexic and autistic children.
I am a teacher, and I have taught for 15 years in both middle and high school and can teach both economics and mathematics very well. I can make students who hate math to like it since I always start from the known to the unknown concepts. I also enjoy teaching kids that is why I take my time in doing that.
I am a college student studying mechanical engineering technology. I can teach up to Calculus 1. I just need to know what material is needed to be taught.
I tutor students from ages pre-K through college level courses in various subjects: - English: up to 400 levels of college courses - Math: up to pre-algebra - Social studies: all areas - Science: includes chemistry and biology (no physics) - Test-taking strategies, including elimination, critical thinking, study skills, note taking, etc.
I am a researcher at EVMS for summer, but I'm going to VCU for fall (Pharm/Tox MS). My job deals with behavior studies of rats. Before this job, I tutored Stats and Psychology for students at ODU, and worked at the Norfolk Library, helping youth coordinator with activities there.
I tutor kids in Spanish by reviewing grammatically and conversationally to help them prepare for any exams.
