Kathy has been working with us two times a week at 6:30am. Our goals were improved balance, strength and weight loss. We both have "injuries" or at least hot spots as we are in our late 40's. Kathy is very knowledgable, patient and has been building over the past few weeks. Her workouts feel like just the right level as we ache a little in unused muscles but we are not rcrippled the next day. We love that she works with us at ou house with our equipment and doesn't seem to mind our dog wanting pets! She demonstrates correct form and makes sure we do it the right way. Kathy does great work and we highly recommend her. Bottom line: realistic, patience, pushes with a smile and we see positive results.
I love this place. Just finished a three-month trial period. Taking a break because I've got too much on my plate this month and I'm struggling with sleep deprivation, but I hope to be back as soon as I finish a major project at the end of the month. At the start of the year, I was looking to shed some holiday weight. I got in touch with Curt. He was super helpful and responsive. He listened to my circumstances and really worked with me to make membership possible. I've been working out 2-3 times per week with Jared, who is both a sweetheart and an ass-kicker! The workout are challenging, my muscles are always sore and the company is awesome. Seriously, I never realized the gym could be so fun. Ligot caps classes at 6 individuals. That intimate environment allows Jared to pay a lot of attention to each person. He's great at tailoring our workouts according to our skill level. As for the exercises, they work out the entire body. The flow and repetition will make you sweat. Lifts, squats, stretches, cardio -- there's a bit of everything in each workout. I always leave these sessions feeling awesome. I highly recommend Ligot Training Systems to people of all skill levels. These guys are all heart AND hard work. I'll be back.
I had a fantastic experience working out with Jazmin. Shes very professional, and the workouts are KILLER, whether your just starting out or your a fitness guru. The variety of the workouts are very good also.. all in all, I believe her workout and fitness regime could revolutize the workout market because she customizes her workouts for anyone at any level!
Rich's approach combines yoga moves for flexibility, fencing excercises for balance and good ol' weights and repetitions for strength. His classes are fun and fast paced. My back and neck pain is down to zero and I completed three big backpacking trips this summer and felt great the whole time (except for the blisters!)
I have been working out with Keith for about one year now. I take his boot camp classes 2-3 times a week and love it! He makes the class fun as well as challenging us. He makes sure we do the exercises safely and correctly. I also participated in the 28 day challenge that he offered July 2013. I wasn't going to do it at first but am so glad I did. The program taught me how to eat clean healthy meals along with regular exercise. I have lost about 35 pounds and I can say for the first time in my life I love the way my body looks. It takes dedication and determination, but well worth it! Thanks to Keith for being such a great trainer!
I started personal training sessions with Amanda over four years ago. I had planned to learn a few routines and go back to working out on my own. I soon found out that Amanda was able to motivate me to work harder than I ever thought I could. Thanks to her nutrition program, personal training sessions and boot camps, I have lost over 40 pounds and at age 53 started running and completed six 5-K races. I am stronger and feel younger than before I met her. She knows everything about fitness and nutrition and is able to explain and motivate in so many ways. I owe her so much!
Let me tell you about my experience with Marinello Fitness. I contacted Daniel approximately 6 months before I was due to go to Navy Boot Camp. I was 30 years old and at 195lbs, I was overweight. I hadn't really worked out very much in my life, and so I wasn't used to doing so and as such I was very unfit. I couldn't even do five push ups and I certainly couldn't run down to the end of the a football field without being out of breath about half way there. To be able to be boot camp ready I had to lose some pounds, be able to do more push ups and sit ups as well as run 1.5 miles. I had to be able to compete with 18 years old who were fresh out of high school. It was a very intimidating prospect for my future and it left me very anxious. After contacting Daniel, he promptly got back in touch with me and after first assessing my current level of fitness, he came up with a great work out plan to help me reach my goals and that met my budget restraints. The plan was for five days a week of personal training and was not overly difficult, and he was careful to help me make sure that I didn't injure myself. He also gave exceptional advice on diet and nutrition that was healthy, and would still enable me to have delicious food. Throughout the entire process Daniel was never judgmental and was very patient, pleasant, encouraging, and always cared about my long term success, he is an amazing motivator. By the end of my time time working with Daniel I ended up being able to reach all of my goals, losing more than 20lbs, and not only meeting, but exceeding the requirements to pass Navy Boot Camp. I was able to do more sit-ups than any of the 18 year-olds that were there! If you ever have the privilege to work with Daniel, I suggest you take it. He will help you reach all of your goals in a way better than anyone else can. I also know for a fact that Daniel is always getting big dollar offers from oil rich Sheikhs in the Middle East to help them with their fitness and their golf game, so make use of him while you still have him.
Ryan is so knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition! He helped me get on track after I started working out with a personal trainer. I attribute much of how I feel and my weight loss to the nutrition aspect, but of course strength training helps. Ryan will help you meet and exceed your goals. He is upbeat and positive and keeps it fun!
Ian Fitness is one of the best fitness studios I have every been too! The Boot camp classes are amazing, they are always a varied routine and lots of encouragement from the trainers. I have been working with a personal trainer here for over a year and have lost weight, inches and feel much stronger. He has really helped me reached my personal fitness goals! Ronald Lashley has been my personal trainer intermittently over the last three years. During that time he has helped me to improve my physical well-being by losing a total of 45 pounds and increasing my physical health and stamina considerably. Every physician loves to tell us - "eat less, exercise more". Really?? Consider my mind blown by this super secret squirrel nugget of wisdom! Ladies & Gents, in reality, getting to the gym and working out on a regular basis is no easy feat. I enjoy physical activity, but I will also find a billion excuses why I just couldn't make it in today. This is where a great personal trainer comes into the picture! I have trained with Jr on and off for nearly 4 years now. This guy holds some solid certifications such as ACSM and Crossfit Level 1. He also studied to become a personal trainer not by reading a book (which is how many trainers get certified), but by actually going to school (National Personal Training Institute) for over 6 months. Working out with Jr, you will never catch him looking at his phone, or at other clients, or chatting with his gym buddies - all attention is focused on YOU! This is a very important detail in my book. He is respectful, knowledgeable and really fun! After your initial fitness assessment, he will identify your level of intensity and areas of weakness to focus on. Jr does a great job of keeping things interesting and constantly varying our workouts: from strength training to crossfit style circuits, to summer boot camps on Green Lake, there is no room for workout boredom, ever. Even though I love my Crossfit gym, I still work with Jr when I am looking for personal attention or just need to spice up my workout routine. And yes, he is a genuinely good guy, which makes working with him a pleasure.
Wanted to up my fitness a bit, so I tried his Tabata boot camp. It was awesome! All the exercises were possible without equipment so it could be done anywhere and he customized the workouts to the areas I wanted to work on most. Always available for help and gave solid advice to fix any issues I was having. Definitely recommend!
Ihor really knows his stuff!!! He is one of the hardest working people I know! He will not let you quit, really cares about you to help you reach your goals, and is very disciplined when it comes to fitness!!! He truly is the perfect candidate for a trainer or instructor because of his caring personality and extremely hard work ethic! He will get you where you want to be...give him a chance!!! I attended his boot camp and was so happy with the outcome, I felt SO much better, we worked out SO hard...and I was super sore : ) And if you keep at it with him---you will see results!!! Brandon Blinn is a great personal trainer. His one on on training is structured for individual needs, his boot camps are fun, and his nutrition plans are very effective. I have already lost 18 pounds and I look forward to my workouts with Brandon. I highly recommend him!
