Best gym experience ever. We've been Strong Center members for five years. We are part of a small Team Training group. Yoga & spinning are among the many classes offered in the basic membership. A friendly low stress environment. Dave Ross is the best!
Hien's yoga classes are amazing. They are usually a slower pace and very healing. She pays a lot of attention to everyone's specific needs. Her class that I took was wonderful for mind and body restoration and rejuvenation.
I sought a yoga instructor with patience and humility. Lalainya is definitely patient, understanding, positive, & non judgmental. There are other instructors who expect you to be at a certain level of understanding already. As a new student, I find that she is not only understanding but also open to ideas. She welcomes questions as an opportunity to enlighten and share relevant thoughts about the integration of yoga in your overall daily life. If there is any position not held correctly, she will let you know right away. If you seek a knowledgeable, but humble instructor, you will not be disappointed when working with Ms. Rawlings. She listens to your needs, respects/acknowledges your limitations all while encouraging your exploration of self awareness and unlimited potential. This is only my experience and I'm pleased with the results. You will be, too.
I make it a point to try and go to every class Athena teaches. I smile my way through the flow and the uncomfortable poses. Her assists take my next yoga class deeper into the postures. Always appreciated.
Aside from just an overall amazing yoga instructor who brings her expertise, compassion, humor to each class....she has been invaluable for me as I recover from running injuries/woes. Thanks to Jenny, I am able to run again. More, I have a new love of yoga and what it can do for my body and spirit. If you are in Seattle, find a class with Jenny!!
At the time of this review, Duygu has been teaching a group of us yoga for about 4 months. She has been professional, charismatic, and entertaining through each class we have had with her. Our group contains individuals with multiple skill levels and some with minor injuries which Duygu has been able to accommodate by suggesting modifications as needed. She pays attention and is careful to individual needs without sacrificing the quality of instruction. In addition to traditional Vinyasa yoga, she helps us explore new and interesting poses/practices and will incorporate those that we like into future classes. Most recently we learned how to use massage rollers/balls. I have seen marked improvement in her abilities as an instructor through the last 4 months and am happy she takes the initiative to continue her learning through various bootcamps/classes in her own time. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend Duygu as a yoga instructor for individuals and groups.
The BEST Personal Trainer I have ever worked with! I was lucky enough to work with Lynn for over 2 years (before moving to CA). I not only achieved my desired weight loss, but I was stronger and fitter than I had ever been. I felt empowered by this new found fitness and strength and that carried over into other parts of my life. Lynn was well organised, charting my progress with reports and giving me the data that showed how much weight I had lost, how much muscle I had gained and how many inches I had lost. Her program is tailored to each clients needs and abilities. Lynn knew about my dodgy knee, helped me strengthen it and made sure I never injured myself. I would highly recommend Lynn to anyone who wants a trainer that is totally focused on achieving your goals.
Josh is a generous yoga instructor who completely understands his students needs and comfort levels. He welcomes you with a warm smile, delivers gentle guidance when youre not hitting your mark and has an eclectic but fitting mix for music. The yoga was relaxing, but I was definitely sore the next day. He knows when a student is struggling or reaching the correct level and easily accommodates. Highly recommended.
I started taking yoga with Holly about a year ago. One thing that is immediately apparent is her love for teaching yoga to others. For her it is a lifestyle. She genuinely cares about what she does and it shows. Authentic.

I love Chris' yoga class. She provides enough consistency to improve poses, but enough weekly variation to learn new poses and keep it challenging. Her class is the first class after years of doing yoga where I was finally able to do crow pose. I highly recommend Yoga by Chris!

I took Jess's Restorative Yoga class and it was a great experience. Jess is an excellent instructor. She is patient and gentle, adjusting students positions in a quiet, unobtrusive manner. She seems very knowledgeable about anatomy and how yoga can address the specific needs of students. I have contacted her to set up a private home practice for me so that I can continue at home.
I focus on teaching accessible yoga as a “toolkit” to support emotional wellness and self-regulation for folks who live with anxiety, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), depression, and/or feeling disconnected from their physical bodies as a result of trauma. I also guide accessible yoga sessions for folks who are brand new to yoga, who want a gentle practice, or otherwise don’t feel comfortable in a class/group environment.
I would recommend Heather to anyone. She really took the time to understand what we wanted and needed from a yoga instructor and has the patience of Job.
