Nolan and his team took care of me he whole way. He logically explained that repairing a ceiling fan is typically not as cost effective as replacing it, so I had a spare ready just in case. Even so, his team troubleshot the old fan dutifully before diagnosing it dead. They also slid me up a day, which was crucial given our heat wave. Many thanks to the folks at Bixno!
Dennis was professional, did a great job removing the old & installing the new ceiling fan, and was nice enough to give my overly friendly great danes some love :) Thank you! Will definitely be using him again.
Was on time and very helpful. Got my Home theater installed (5.1.2 speaker setup, Mount projector and screen) and also had him perform few minor tasks (mount TV and install ceiling fan). Eric allows you to shadow him while he is working through the project. Very much satisfied by his work and would certainly contact him for any of my future tasks.
If you want a job done thoroughly the first time and work with someone who is responsive and honest...Amin is your man!!! Amin has done many jobs for us, from installing new light fixtures, TV mounts on wall, Fan installation on ceiling, hanging paintings etc. etc. I have worked with many handymen over the years.....I've never seen anyone respond as quickly and completely to my questions either via email or phone. I will never call anyone else! Save yourself time and money....call Amin! He'll get the job done right, the first time! Attaching some pictures of the work he did. Thanks! Jay
I hired Mogi to install ceiling lights in my living room. He was by far the best electrician/contractor I've worked with. He is polite, humble and knowledgeable. His quote for this project was reasonable and his work ethic is impressive. I would recommend Mogi for any electrical work without reservations.
Eric did an awesome job on the exhaust fan replacement at my place. He was on time , professional and very friendly. He did an A1 level job on getting the fan replaced, opening up the duct , securing it from the attic and ensuring the Fan is well positioned. Will be be referring him to couple other folks as well.
B and G did a lot of electrical work at our house. Panel upgrade, replaced all old wiring, corrected electrical fire hazards, kitchen lighting remodel, ceiling fan and chandelier install, etc .. They were courteous, punctual, friendly and 100% professional. I would recommend them to everyone!
I bought an older home and needed some light fixtures replaced and new ceiling fans installed, as well as general inspection. They showed up on time and were very professional, and they did a great job with all the installations. From a pricing standpoint, they are probably at industry standard. I would call them again if I needed something done.
Erin was great from All New Again. His communication was great, and he removed the existing fan and installed the new fan. This did end up with him having to cut the drywall with too large a hole for the existing fan, which will end up costing us around $150 more unfortunately to repair. Had we known this we could have purchased a larger fan and not needed the drywall repair, but Erin had insisted on getting a same size fan to replace it for ease of installation. All in all though, the new fan works, just a shame about the gaping unexpected hole!
Travis sent us a clear and concise estimate, he arrived in the window specified and was professional and fulfilled the request (installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet) as promised. He was so great that we have since asked him to complete a few other electrical projects round the house - a ceiling fan installation and new lights for our master bedroom. I'd highly recommend Element Electric for any electric needs you might have and we plan on tapping him again for future projects!
Although the whole job isn't really done - the ceiling fans work, which is great, but the question of why the lights remain dim on one of them is left unanswered. The dining room lights still need a transformer, so the switch is disconnected and the lights still need some TLC. However, he got the ball rolling, defined what needs to be done for the job to be complete, and I can try and find someone to come out to handle the specifics now that I know what they are.
Jason came over to install a ceiling fan and convert a few outlets to GFCI. He also fixed a fourth outlet for us. A number of on the fly, troubleshooting techniques were required. Jason was very professional, knowledgeable, fast, and friendly. We will hire him again if we have any needs and would recommend him to others!
Gary and his team did an excellent job on multiple electrical jobs throughout our home (data jacks, smart switches, ceiling fan and light fixture replacement, etc.). They were thorough, exacting and fast; explaining every detail as they went along. They isolated and described the effects of a deficiency in the home's original wiring and options for fixing it. Gary also spent the time to discuss what it would take to add a whole house generator when we add a future freestanding RV garage; including the relocation of the electric meter, and house electric and propane hook-ups. We will surely use Parker Bros Electric again!
I really wish that I did not have to give this review, but I feel that people need to know what they are getting. Kurt is a nice guy, but the problem is that he tends to take advantage when you let things slide too much. The first big project I had him do was a remodel of my bathroom, which turned out beautiful. The issue is, it's half done. I wanted a closet put in, trim done, a medicine cabinet framed in, and painting done. He claimed because I did not have the medicine cabinet, the rest of the work couldn't get done. The bathroom originally was slated to be done in 2-3 days, it ended taking almost 2 weeks. The bathroom looks nice, but it also looks half done. Kurt also did a couple of small jobs around my house, install ceiling falls, put up christmas lights, no complaints there. The next project I had him work on was my front steps. Now, I pay someone to do the work, I don't pay someone so that myself or someone else living in my home have to help. 700.00 later, my friend had the finish the job. Again, another project paid for that was not completed by him solo. The last project which prompted me to write this review, was to install the remaining hardwood floor in my house. Kurt was at home for 8 hours and laid down not even a 1/8 of the floor. In the time he was there for 8 hours, my roommate laid down half of that 1/8 of the floor Kurt did. He took an hour lunch (fine), but then decided to do a bid across the street while he was on MY time. Came back an hour later, and at this point the nailer stopped working so he called it a day. For laying down 1/8 (not even) of hardwood floor, he wanted to be paid 200.00. He had promised the floor would be done that day, and granted there were some issues with the old floor, etc, but be honest and don't waste my time going to do other bids while you are on a job. He said he would come back the following Tuesday and finish out the job for a total of $500.00. Today, he is now telling me it will be 900.00, and if I don't pay him 900.00, he is going to do a job where he can make 2000.00. This is so unprofessional and rude. I have fed him, I have been extremely nice to him, and all I had wanted were my projects to be done in a timely and affordable manner. It got to the point where I feel like he is taking advantage of me, and basically saying if you don't pay me x amount of dollars (which was way above what he originally quoted), then hes not coming back to do the work. I won't be using him again unfortunately.
It is a pleasure to recommend Jeremy of Handy Seattle. I contacted him a couple of weeks in advance since I was taking time off from work and wanted to schedule some repairs. He returned my call promptly, was friendly and knowledgeable and we made an appointment to get the work done. I needed a couple of simple repairs - replacing the fan motor in my bathroom exhaust fan and troubleshooting a light switch that had stopped working. I had ordered the motor for the fan and Jeremy took out the old motor and installed the new one quickly. He examined the switch, determined it was bad, went out for a replacement and installed it. He did all of this in an hour (including going for the switch). While chatting with him as he was working, it was plain that he has the knowledge and skills to handle big, complicated jobs as well as simple repairs. I especially appreciated his willingness to take on these small simple jobs that others didn't seem interested in. Jeremy is a fine young man and a great handy man and I will certainly be calling him again when I need projects or repairs done.
Nate with Koester Building patched two floor to ceiling holes for me. He matched the texture of the wall perfectly! I wil definitely call Koester Building again.
Alex did a great job with a difficult vaulted ceiling fan installation. He asked all the right questions before quoting the job. I would definitely hire All Spark Electric again.
Very good job removing our ceiling fan and installing the new light in a difficult area. Really nice electrician, clean, efficient and friendly. He even appreciated our neighbors cat trying to help him out with with the cords! I will definitely use them again.
Drew and Matt earned my highest recommendation by doing outstanding work at a fair price. They replaced my main circuit panel, installed can lighting, chandeliers, dimmers, and ceiling fans. They were extremely pleasant to be around, very professional and did the work in less than 3 days. 5 stars for sure!
We have worked with Chris off and on for years doing various projects for our rental properties and home I live in now. I have had him remodel kitchens, bathrooms, outside work which has included additions, fences, decks, rebuilding my garage, repaving my driveway, building a retaining wall, installing windows, doors, floors, fans, waterproofing, you name it he's done it for me including foreclosed properties. What I really like about this company is the rates are reasonable, hes a great listener and communicator and his wife helps him run the day to day operations with emails and office work so he's not so overworked. I have hired contractors in the past that have came in demoed the job, demand more money or they disappear. Chris has either asked for a deposit and paid as work has progressed, paid hourly and than paid weekly, or what have you. Even if something did interfere with being on that job daily, he always has told me via email or called and he always keeps me updated on how things are going or if there were extra costs involved, we were notified immediately. I think most contractors try to do the work, the estimates, get materials, do the office work by themselves and i think it gets them into trouble not being able to be at three places at once so they do really well. The only complaint i have is he might show up late once in awhile but I know running a company isn't easy, I am self employed as well. I highly recommend him and his company to do remodeling and repairs. Very professional and they fix any work that has been paid for or charged for free. I have never had an issue getting him back out here to fix something that I wanted done differently or organically didn't stay put. I am avaliable for personal referrals.
Hired the guys at Light Construction to tackle my shower tile installation, after attempting to start it on my own, and realizing quickly that I was in over my head. I knew right from meeting them for an estimate, that these guys were pros. The quote was very competitive, and the agreement was very through and spelled out. The guys were on point. Allays on time, easy to talk to, and made me feel really comfortable. Also impressive considering they were commuting all the way into Redmond for our job. They went about a 1/2 a day longer than we originally planned, but the results were well worth it. Everything turned out super nice. They stayed on budget, and there were no surprises. They left the space clean, and even hauled away all the garbage I had laying around from my drywall "DIY" work. Will work with you guys again. Hard work and great results makes for return customers. (Also being Seahawks fans doesnt hurt your business case either) A+. Feel free to use me as a reference. Blake (Redmond)
