I was sent Brad Mar for my piano lessons, and he's AMAZING. Great guy, lets the lessons flow at a natural pace, and he goes above and beyond getting learning material into your hands. This has been worth every penny and I can't stress enough how valuable this has been for my musicianship. You all rock!
I am currently taking guitar lessons from Ken. He is both knowledgeable and patient. He provides instruction that makes use of multiple learning styles and is responsive to my input. His rates are very reasonable considering the quality of instruction he offers.
Im provided with private violin lessons and I feel really grateful to have Kimmy as a teacher. She really relates to you on a level seldom teachers do. She's very supportive and laid back yet pushes you to improve too. No complaints! :)
I am pleasantly surprised that I found such a good teacher, Ken Jacobsen, who even lives close to me. I have complete confidence in his ability to take my classical guitar training to the next level.
Dr. Krentz is an excellent teacher of both technique and expression, enabling the students to truly excel and thus thoroughly enjoy playing the cello. His dedication to his students is seen in every lesson and he works tirelessly to ensure their progress and success. His methods are backed up with extensive, sound research and he explains the reasoning beneath each physical motion of playing the cello and creating a beautiful tone. He's an inspiration for myself, another cello teacher who's been very lucky to work with him!
Love this school! It's been great experience for both of my kids. We've been taking piano and guitar lessons for last 4 years
We are Premium Lessons. We offer piano and violin lessons.
Haeyoon Shin Studios offers amazing cello lessons at a top notch level. The studio is intense and pushes students beyond the skill level they thought possible. The studio has a well thought out practicing method that all students use, and it completely changed the way I myself play the cello. I cannot imagine where I would be with my instrument if I had not joined the studio, nor can I believe how much I improved in such a short time. She is a high demand teacher, with an extremely busy schedule. If you know going in that lessons may be rescheduled, and that time must be flexible between the student and the teacher, then all you have to do is practice hard, and watch your playing improve exponentially.
Ananta is an exceptional violin teacher. She's patient, professional and fun. She starts from the ground up, leaving her students with a lifetime of great habits. She has given my daughter a love for music that will last a lifetime and you can't put a price on that! Ananta is amazing in her own right, making students want to practice so they can be as amazing as her someday. I highly recommend her for any student at any age. You don't come across a music teacher like her everyday.
I offer private lessons in beginning cello and beginning guitar for all ages in Seattle, primarily in the Wallingford, Green Lake, Ballard, and University District neighborhoods.
I've performed all over the world in venues such as Carnegie Hall. Worked with world class musicians and artists in the classical, rock, and improv world. I also create music for film, dance, and compose concert music. I've lived in Europe and in New York City for over a decade, recently moved to Seattle where I grew up, and teach cello, composition and chamber music at Cornish College of the Arts. I'm passionate about music and sharing my love of music in my teaching. Lessons can be done in person or over internet, if student is not in Seattle.

I am an experienced cello teacher with a great passion in music, and I am offering private lessons. I help students prepare orchestra pieces and offer two recitals per year. All young cellists are encouraged to join their school orchestra, Solo and Ensemble Festival, and local youth symphonies.
We are a family known locally for our transcriptions. We teach piano, violin, viola, cello and bass, as well as very beginner flute and drum lessons. We also teach basic music theory and help others try to learn how to transcribe their very own favorite songs to any instrumentation. We also perform our own transcriptions for various events, such as weddings, services and parties, and we take any custom requests they may have, from Elvis Presley to the Beatles and Miley Cyrus.
Depth of experience, understanding and the ability teach a natural technique in clear, precise and complete terms. Students also learn how to consciously direct their learning process so they are working efficiently avoiding wasted repetitions during practice time.
