This is an old house built in the 40's with electrical to match, and True and team were able to take care of everything we needed in record time and work around complicated and outdated electrical infrastructure. True installed several lighting fixtures, cameras, kitchen appliance, and went out of his way to diagnose other issues in our house so we were aware of them. His team was very considerate of our home and wore shoe covers, laid down protective mats to protect our original hardwood floors from his tools and equipment, and took time to consider the feng shui when installing lighting to make sure it looked good from all angles. True's prices are sensible and come with professionalism and top tier work that you can feel confident with. He was also very flexible with scheduling and was able to accommodate our schedule to get these projects knocked out over the weekend. The seamlessness with which it comes on when the power goes out is fantastic. After the initial five year warranty, which included annual service, we opted to extend the service contract an additional three year because the annual service is very thorough, professionally done and helps insure the generator is functioning properly. The service included maintenance items such as oil changes, filter cleaning or changing, etc. thus insuring the generators longevity.. We just re-upped for another three years of service."See more

This guy was a no-show twice. On the rescheduled day, he told me he was on his way, 18 minutes away. 5 mins later, he texts me to confirm the city I'm in. I texted him my address again. After an hour of waiting, I texted him again, asking if he was still on his way. Nothing, no reply, no apology, nothing. I don't know how good of an electrician he is, but what I do know, he's a complete flake.

We had a great experience. I needed a new wire for a downdraft oven. This wire needed to be ran all the way to our box and the house doesn't have crawl space to do so in an easy manner. They were able to send out a guy immediately to evaluate and solve the problem. 2 other electricians refused the job due to the difficulty, but Dan not only took it on he seemed to enjoy the challenge and then went well above and beyond to get it right and make it look great. Will definitely call them again for anything.

We had a timer on our front entry that needed replacing. I felt I could easily do it myself, I've performed minor electrical repairs before. However, when I opened the switch plate there was a wire not connected on either side laying inside and I could not see where it belonged. I decided I didn't want to mess with it. We found Tony on Thumbtack after trying to hire an electrician from another source. We got 2 recommended contractors from that source. One contractor attempted to gouge us by saying (without looking at the job) that he will have to rip out our drywall to get a new wire installed. He wanted $350, which did not included the drywall repair after he was done. The 2nd guy never called, even after I reached out to him twice. I found Thumbtack, wrote a description of the small job, several contractor names came up. Tony responded 1st and we hired him. Best decision, he's honest, clean and professional. We had him look and fix 2 other small issues we were having and the total cost was very reasonable. We're looking forward to hiring Tony for another more ambitious project. If you need an electrician, hire this guy!!!

We had an issue with an electrical outlet in our house. It was sparking intermittently. We closed the circuit immediately and reached out to electricians via Thumbtack. Luckily, we found Jason. He was extremely quick to respond to emails and got here on the scheduled time. I turned out that the issue was not in that specific outlet, but was connected to the wiring. He spent two hours checked every outlet in detail until he was able to narrow down the problem area that was causing the issue (which was actually downstairs in the dining room). Anyway, he fixed it, replaced stuff where he could.. and checked every single outlet on that line three times before putting them back in. It took about 2.5 hours to complete the job. He didn't raise his bill and stuck to his original proposed estimate. All in all, can't recommend Jason more.

Guy that showed up for a complimentary service call didn’t determine where the problem was and how long it would take to fix, he guessed a few hours for a short that affected 2 or more areas with no electricity. He said he would have to come back to “really” assess and that would be $350 for the first hour to assess and if repairs were needed and couldn’t be completed within that hour it would be $225 each additional hour. The electrician rate for the Seattle area is $30 - 50/hr and the guy was a journeyman. $350 & $225/hr is just price gouging, even including overhead. The first visit being “complimentary” as promised is because they don’t really assess anything. So it was total waste of time. The $350 is the true cost of their “complimentary assessment”, a bait-and-switch tactic. The first visit as free diagnosis, isn’t a real diagnosis. Even with overhead, $350 & 225/hr is at the top of the market and completely unreasonable. Beware!
