Ben is not just a very talented personal trainer but he is also a friend to all of his clients. I can tell he genuinely cares about my health and fitness as well as my life in general. He at times will act as your life coach and inspirational speaker during your sessions or he will just make you smile to make working out as fun as it can possibly be. His training sessions for sure push me to work out harder than I ever would on my own, he has really helped me reach my fitness goals and get in great shape for summer! He is also so accommodating by coming to your home to make everything so easy on you. Hire Ben as your personal trainer, he is the BEST!
I am a member of a national health club chain and initially talked to the in-house trainers. I was so turned off by the hard sell and puppy-mill approach that I decided to find a personal trainer that I could respect and trust. I have been working with Jeremy 2x a week for approx. 2 months. I started with a goal of getting “bathing suit-ready” for a trip of a lifetime. Beyond achieving my initial goal, I have become stronger, more flexible and I am seeing better-than-expected results. The journey to better health / fitness and our working relationship will continue long after my vacation is over. I am very happy with my choice in trainers [and his choice to take me on as a client]. Coach William Z was referred to me as someone to help get me in a better place with the Red Carpet Premier Program. I can say without question that physically, mentally, and emotionally I have been pushed and encouraged to be my best self. Exercises for our "off" days, nutrition counseling, and personal development have given me tools I use not only in my personal life but also professional. Coach is authentic and has a great sense of humor. I will ever be grateful for the positive impact he has made in my life.

I showed up for a walking group in April 2015 not knowing what to expect. I've been pretty physically active but even so for the past couple of years i have some slight problems with pain in my right knee when I walk, particularly when I would walk downhill. I mentioned that to Adrienne and she gave me a tip to help my stride when I walked down hill that helped immediately. I've incorporated her tips when I walk on flat ground too and as a result I no longer feel right knee pain when I walk. I still notice that I don't have as much flexibility in my right knee/leg as in my left leg, but I no longer notice discomfort in my knee when I'm in motion. I recommend Adrienne highly to anyone looking for a fitness coach. If I could give her more than four stars I would do so. Beyond the positive results I've gotten as a result of working with her, I enjoy her positive personality too. I am very glad I showed up for that walking group last April.
I could not be more happy about Body Transformations. When I started, I was not flexible at all in my ankles, hips, and shoulders. Through a systematized assessment, I was told about these problem areas immediately during the first session. In fact, drastic improvements were made on the very first day through massaging the muscles in those areas and re-assessing the exact same movements. I was amazed. The range of motion improvement was not a fraction of an inch which could have been mis-measurement. The improvement was over 3 inches on my left shoulder and 2 inches on my right shoulder. You have to try this systematized assessment for yourself. Now that was just the first day. Since then, I have been coming to my convenient appointments regularly. I have lost inches off my waist and gained muscle mass in my arms, legs, chest, shoulders and neck, and I wasn't super thick to start with. My Body Mass Index (BMI) is consistently measured and improves each month. I appreciate Anthony's challenging workouts that are always fresh and upbeat. It keeps your body out of a dull routine and your mind interested in the education that is provided during each workout. The level of knowledge shows and each certification earned is integrated into my workout progression. I have been an athlete all my life and even in college no coach spent the type of time and effort so that I knew why I was doing an exercise. I learn what benefits the exercise produces, and how the current exercise will fit into my future exercise plan. I will remain a customer for life. I know it has helped me look great in a suit, be fit in my activities, and make friends in the studio that I can really relate to.
Nick Koller has help me reach fitness goals that I could not otherwise do myself. The job was at Excellence Health and Fitness Gym. Although, we are still in progress Nick has been helping me train for 5 weeks now and I have already seen major inprovments in lower body fat and more muscle growth. What impressed me about the service is how much improvement I have been making in only 1 hour a session for 3 sessions a week. In addition, I really like how much I felt that Nick cared for my fitness goals and what I wanted to achieve. I have training with Nick for 5 weeks now and I would say he's exceeded my expectation of where I would want to be within this time. Nick has always been on time when we have scheduled sessions and he has been very flexible with my schedual. Given the results that I have shown I would say the quality of the work is excellent. I'm not sure I can say that there is anything that could have improved my experience because my experience was fantastic.
Melissa was prompt, professional, and happened to be just who I was looking for in my own neighborhood. She is a Rotarian, so I know that she thinks of her community as well as her own business. She followed up immediately, and even when I had to cancel our first consultation, she didn't miss a beat, and followed through again. We are looking forward to working with her as my husband has some interesting health challenges!
For the past few months I have been working with my personal trainer, Matt Wines. Matt is so engaged in my health decisions to lose weight, lose inches, and have a better healthy life. He pushes me when necessary, accommodates my work schedule by being flexible and changes my workout so I don't get bored. I have been very successful and am wearing my smallest jeans. Matt is great! Kim is a great trainer. I have been out for a few months and have 2 chronic health conditions and she understands my limitations while challenging me at my workouts. She very encouraging and has a vast knowledge of her profession. She also has a great personality, energetic and always helpful should I have a question. I started working with my personal trainer, Peter Lucas, who views things with a holistic approach, to improve overall health, well-being, and spirituality. He’s helped me see obstacles as opportunities instead! He’s helped me with nutrition, meditation, journaling and having a healthy, wholesome, and positive attitude and perspective towards life. Also from him I’m slowly learning some kinesiology addressing physiological, biomechanical, and psychological mechanisms of movement. He’s like a Buddha, really— calm, patient, and kind. Usually I am scared sh*tless to go on walks by myself especially on busy main streets. It’s anxiety inducing because I have Tourette urges where I want to jump out into traffic or I worry about having tics where I fall and roll all over the floor, scraping my knee pretty badly but working with Peter Lucas has helped me formed a “just do it” mentality, living in the moment and stop forecasting so damn much. So now I go on brisk walks everyday for at least 20 minutes, workout five times a day for at least half an hour, and learning how to meditate and eat right. Even though it hasn’t been 12 weeks yet (the amount of time I am working with Peter) I can vouch that he is compassionate, loving, understanding, knowledgeable, patient, humorous, funny, free-spirited, laid-back and down to earth. Overall an amazing human being. I also appreciate his calmness and tranquility when I lunge at him, toss things at him, or have other tourette symptoms that night be startling and nerve wracking to others. It helps me remain calm and less anxious and to focus on my workout. Working with Hannah has been a life changing experience. She is a professional that can accommodate all levels of fitness from the elderly to the adolescent. In my case , I am middle aged and was out of shape with limited range of motion and little muscle mass. The results I've experience, which takes time and patience, have been due to being steady and consistent and trusting Hannah as my guide. She has been there 110% and helped me find confidence and strength I didn't think I had. I managed to stay focused on my goal to get strong and fi without getting hurt. I highly recommend her as a trainer, coach and fitness expert.

Here’s a small background about myself to provide a little extra validity to my review on Balance Performance Fitness: I am a certified Athletic Trainer and am familiar with body mechanics, injury prevention, nutrition, health & wellness, exercise, etc. Ben worked with me consistently for about two months - still is involved with my workout routines whenever a little extra help is needed. Anyways, for those of you who are looking for a personal trainer, I highly recommend choosing Balance Performance Fitness to work with Ben. Overall he is a great coach who focuses on what your individual needs are specifically. He is able to challenge you in a positive way, and give you direct answers/reasons to any questions you have concerning your health or goals. Unlike other personal trainers that I’ve worked with where they either talk in circles, or use the same workout plan for every client; Ben strives in building a good rapport with you to be sure he is able to meet your expectations on your personal fitness goals. My experience having Ben as a coach was phenomenal. I have always struggled with putting in the work to strengthen my lower body - wether it was just pure lack of focus, no motivation, and just out of ideas for workouts that really blasted my muscles. While working with Ben I was able to overcome all of that and hit new PR’s (personal records) in all aspects. From front squat, backsquat. Deadlifts, to bench press, pull-ups etc. you name it. I have been the strongest I have ever been after just having Ben as my coach for two months, pushing me and finding ways to target my specific goals. So again, if you want to hit your fitness goals and have been struggling with them, I suggest just take that next step and at least talk to Ben to see if he will be a good fit for you. One word of advice though, if you do hire him, be sure you are ready to put in the work. There are no such thing as ‘excuses’ when it comes down to training with Ben and I think that is what makes him a remarkable personal trainer.
I was treated with respect and yet his desire is for you to reach your goal. Steve also was encouraging and guided. He was avaliable by phone or email. He throughly got my information that pertaining to health and excersize. He followed up with me at least 1 or 2 times by email or phone. In training for Mt. Rainier Izaic has been the best coach I could ask for. Izaic is very professional and involved in his coaching approach. He takes time to understand his athletes on an in-depth personal level that takes into account the physical, but also the emotional and spiritual. He takes a whole person approach that helps the athlete excel in all facets of life. Working with Izaic has made me a more confident and stronger individual physically and mentally!
