Hot Water Tank Installation: First, Thumbtack is a great utility! Just WOW. I called a local company to have them give me a quote on having an new hot water tank put in and the quote came in a over $2,000 after taxes. I then called Lowes Hardware and they quoted $1,350 to $1,500 depending on the tank purchased. Then I Goggled hot water tanks and found Thumbtack. Filled out the app and received 7 bids. Dennis was the 2nd to answer. I had to call him to see why his bid came in like it did. He answered immediately. We talked for a bit and agreed on a price and how to proceed. Dennis keeps is simple. You buy it, he installs it. He came out the next day, Saturday, early, and in 2 ½ hours I had a new hot water tank for less than $900.00 installed. Dennis is very professional and down to earth. He is extremely knowledgeable in many facets of âhome honey doâsâ. If you have a list of things that⦠just need done, Dennis is the guy! FIVE STARS!
Danika plumbing installed a water pipe and faucet in oue home. Danika plumbing had all the tools and materials ready to do the job. The work was done quickly and with quality. The work was checked and rechecked for leaks.
Quick repair - cleared sewer drain the day I hired him. Thank you!
Zane and Robert took a look at the problem and found the pipe that broke was the main water line to the house. They were able to find a couple options to solve the problem. They helped me make an informed decision. They put in a new pipe the same day. Hard workers and very polite.
We recently had our garbage disposal removed as we prefer a drain system without it. We hired Gil using thumbtack. He was quick to respond, and then seamlessly scheduled an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time, assessed the under sink situation, and gave us an accurate quote to remove the old disposal and re-plumb all the piping. In addition he walked us through what we would need in the future for a new water heater installation. We will definitely hire Gil again in the future.
All other quotes were blindly for replacing the water heater without even a diagnosis. Chris came in right on time, diagnosed the issue and fixed the same. He also provided a 90 day warranty for the fix.
I can't say enough about Hassan, what a fantastic person to work with. He was extremely flexible working around my schedule and taking the time to walk through his thought process to explain why particular things needed to be handled in certain ways per code or otherwise. To give some sense for the scope of work, my project included: - running new PEX lines from the main to our utility room - new lines to the bathroom and laundry - decommissioning of the existing water heater - installation of a new on-demand heater - running new gas lines to my furnace, on-demand heater and dryer. Lots of work, Five-start recommendation from me!
Aaron of JAFCO was very professional. We had sewer blockage. He diagnosed the problem and provided a recommended solution at a reasonable price. The solution required replacing approximately 25' of exterior sewer line and installing a clean-out. His crew appeared promptly at the time scheduled and all work was completed as efficiently as possible. I highly recommend JAFCO Co for any plumbing needs. I certainly will work with him again in the future for my plumbing projects..
I had to have my main sewer line cleared, where it was found to have tree roots clogging the line..The techs that came out were very polite and helpful ( I asked a lot of questions...) and I was very pleased with my service! I would recommend this company to my friends..Thanks again, it's nice to have clear running drains again!
John put in a new water line to a refrigerator in an older home that wasn't previously set up for one. John answered my call right away and scheduled a visit quickly. He did a great job at a fair price. Hope I don't need a plumber again soon but would definitely recommend him and would call on him again when needed.
Larry added some gutter downspouts to a multi-level roof that had upper level gutters emptying out onto the next level roof surface. This arrangement was causing leaks during heavy rains. Larry added downspouts from the upper level gutters to empty into the next level gutters. Roof leak issues solved and the work looks great. Larry also replaced 2 man-doors in my garage that posed a security risk because they had doggy doors in them; one leading into the house and one leading into the yard. Excellent work on all projects. Larry informed me when he ran into unexpected issues and gave me options on how he planned to work around the issues and he did not charge extra for any of the unforeseen work. I even changed the original plan midway through the gutter job and he had no problems accommodating. He did quality work. The gutters function way better and look great. The new doors are set better and balanced better than the old doors. Great Work!!! I will be using LG Home Improvement and Maintenance again for future projects for sure!
Today was my first time to Use Bee's Plumbing. I had a rather urgent issue at one of my rentals. Since the rainy season started back there was a string smell of sewerage coming from a basement Toilet. I put the job on Thumbtack and within minutes I got a response from Melissa. Within 30 minutes I have 8 companies that contacted me about the job. I chose Bee's on a gut feeling as Melissa seemed to be so responsive, friendly & organized. She quickly called me back, set me up for an appointment at a time that suited me and as soon as we finished the call I got a text AND an email (which I love as I hate using paper), to confirm the appointment and also a Bio of Carlton the plumber. He arrived ahead of time, quickly assessed the issue, recommended a repair and once I approved, completed it and was done and gone within the hour. He was awesome. You hear stories of plumbing companies who just want to get the most $'s out of a customer, especially one who has no choice. Not Bee's, the total cost was the $99 call out charge. Bee's are my go to guys from this day on for my rentals & my home. Thank You Guy's!!!
He was by far the best price by a mile and he came and did the work and more without charging anything extra. He installed a new water line for me outside and snaked a drain. He also installed an emergency water shut off for me at no extra cost. He just saw it needed to be done and he did it.. All systems work great now. I can't say enough good things about him. I have other work I need done and I will definitely hire him again!!
The quality of work and the skills of J. & R are unmatched. The cabinet and countertop installation are of superior workmanship. Thank you for the job well done.
I hired Eric to install an electric water heater in my investment property. His quote was fair and he was very thorough in explaining what he'd provide. Here is my assessment: THE GOOD Eric knows his job, he's a precise, nice guy and has a positive attitude to make things work, no matter what it takes. His services are priced fairly and his passion for the craft is evident. He's also very flexible with time. AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT Eric is overly optimistic about the time it takes to complete a job. Allocate a safe buffer to avoid being surprised. Because of his sociable nature, Eric gets quickly distracted. Let him focus on the work and he'll perform at his best. Bottomline: I'd hire him again.
Although I hired Chuck to bleed the water lines in my heating system, he found out the system did not require this action. After inspecting the system, he said the problem was the system was turned off and was not sending heated water through the lines. Since the job did not require any labor, Chuck only charged me for the gas he used for the trip to my house. I would Chuck again if I need any plumbing work done. In fact I asked him for his business card so I can call him for my future plumbing needs.
Jim showed up on time and got the sewer pipe installed at the same day.
Our initial call to the Pipe Dr was for a side sewer that started backing up early in the morning. Due to the relative urgency of the situation, we called The Pipe Doctor because of their good reviews, they opened at 7:30 (most places opened at 8:00), and they were able to come out the same day. They arrived within a couple hours of our call, which was more than we expected/hoped for. They were able to clear out the blockage, and recommended that we consider replacing a portion of the side sewer that had sunk. For various reasons we declined, however, when we needed to call them out 11 days later, we decided to move forward with their suggestion. They made whole the process as painless as possible. The plan changed a couple of times because of where other utilities crossed over our sewer and what was seen once all of the connections were unburied, however, Trish and Josh kept us updated, gave us our options, and we feel that they did a wonderful job. They also recommended a great company to fill the asphalt drive once they were done. They were reasonably priced, very friendly, knowledgeable, and we will definitely call on them if we other issues.
We had sewer back up. They came very quick. They were very professional and left area clean after job was done.
Cody and his team were very helpful during a very stressful plumbing crisis that required replacing 100 year old pipes in my home and inspecting the sewer line. Cody stayed until the job was done, even though that required work after normal hours. I was so grateful to have an honest and reliable team of professionals in my home.
