I've had a few personal trainers in my day. Ben is the only one I've kept for more than six months. We meet weekly and he is consistently creative in our workouts so that I stay interested and strengthening all areas of the body.

I've never had a trainer before and didn't really know what to expect. All of the trainers are very personable. Even when I work out with my trainer, the other trainers give you a positive shout when you're doing well or need a posititive push on harder days. The workouts make me comfortable with all aspects of the gym and I always feel well informed about each exercise. If your trainer isn't available, there are plenty of opportunities to jump into another trainer's workout. I still haven't found a love for working out but the trainers at Serious about Fitness make it fun.

I am a member of a national health club chain and initially talked to the in-house trainers. I was so turned off by the hard sell and puppy-mill approach that I decided to find a personal trainer that I could respect and trust. I have been working with Jeremy 2x a week for approx. 2 months. I started with a goal of getting “bathing suit-ready” for a trip of a lifetime. Beyond achieving my initial goal, I have become stronger, more flexible and I am seeing better-than-expected results. The journey to better health / fitness and our working relationship will continue long after my vacation is over. I am very happy with my choice in trainers [and his choice to take me on as a client]. Pros: • Great sense of humor and always positive, even when I am not! • Sensitive to my existing injuries • Easy to work with and flexible with reschedules • Answers my questions and explains the mechanics / expected outcomes of each workout • Focused on developing good form and nutritional habits • Extremely responsive to my questions between sessions [via email/ text] Cons: • None

I have been going to Super Fit for 9 years and find it's a great place to keep your body and mind feeling healthy and strong. At 57 I can still ski, mountain bike and hike with my adult kids, I know its because of Super Fit especially the squats and lunges.The small group environment with the personal trainers keeps you on your toes and makes it more affordable.

I've only been working with George for a couple of weeks but so far the experience has been great. He was fast to reach out on Thumbtack and from there everything has been seamless. I was not sure what to expect as I've never had a personal trainer but George walked me through everything. Everything he does seems customized to your needs and the workouts are definitely intense. He knows what he's doing!

Tough. Thorough. Tailored. Coach Z's individualized training regiment was designed specifically for me and has, and is, paying off incredibly. I have trained with three other trainers before Z, one of which was for a body building competition. The shortcuts I took with that personal trainer have left long term negative affects on my body. Back, knee, and IT band injuries had left me frustrated, unmotivated, and overweight. What had worked before, did not work anymore. My girl friend found Z on Thumbtack and set up a meeting for me without my knowledge. I was initially resistant- but it didn't take long to let my guard down and trust in Z's guidance. In only a couple of months, my body and overall well being has improved greatly. Z's training helped by body work through injury and my body's imbalances - all the while helping me lose a lot of weight! Also, I am military and his training has helped me get back in shape to do my job. Z always goes above and beyond - even coordinating with me and my chiropractor and orthopedic specialist. Z is your man. Trust me.

Holly is an upbeat and supportive motivator — she has set me up with workout goals, offers nutritional tips, and even shares recipes and workouts to do on my own! I've been going to Body Transformations for a little over a month now and I'm really happy with it. You can choose between group classes or one-on-one sessions to fit your schedule and budget. Anthony makes sure that your form is correct and that you're constantly being pushed so you get the most out of every workout. He also provides nutrition recommendations to complement what you're doing in the gym, and is happy to answer questions about it. Overall, I would highly recommend Anthony at Body Transformations to anyone looking for a personal trainer. The workouts are fun and even in just a month I can already tell I'm getting stronger!

I ended up meeting Mi as my personal trainer and I was exremely happy with the way he understood my goal and constantly working with me to help my goals. I have a lower back problem and cervical spine issues. So I was not so flexible in lifting weights and working out. Mi helped me in identifying my weak spots and teaching me different ways to build strength in those areas. I was able to do more and different workout than I used to do before. He is really a cool guy to work with and is serious about his clients. I strongly recommend him.

Training with Nick is one of the greatest things I have ever done for myself. Since working with him I have become a personal trainer myself and can say without a doubt that he is among the best in the industry. He not only transformed my health, but taught me so much that I was able to pass along to my own clients. I've worked with 6 different trainers for extended periods of time to learn different things and Nick is the only one who takes continuing his education seriously. His wealth of knowledge will change you for the better. If your goal is fat loss, this is where he excels this most. Everything else I've tried has been a waste of time and money by comparison. I can't speak highly enough of Nick, the personal training industry needs more trainers like him.

I have been with Jamie for 6 months now and I couldn't be happier. She is truly a genuine person as well as a dedicated trainer. She takes initiative to get to know you and your goals so that she can create the best individual plan. As someone who isn't confident finding her way around a gym, I loved her home workouts as well as gym workouts and outdoor workouts. I have never done the same workout twice which is perfect for me since I get bored easily. Maryliah is an amazing personal trainer. I have been working out with her for 6 months, and my body and mind are so much better for it! She is a great coach: encouraging, supportive, enthusiastic. She customizes workouts to meet my goals, makes accommodations if I have an injury, and makes it fun! She focuses a lot on good form, which is so important for weight lifting. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!

I started working with my personal trainer, Peter Lucas, who views things with a holistic approach, to improve overall health, well-being, and spirituality. He’s helped me see obstacles as opportunities instead! He’s helped me with nutrition, meditation, journaling and having a healthy, wholesome, and positive attitude and perspective towards life. Also from him I’m slowly learning some kinesiology addressing physiological, biomechanical, and psychological mechanisms of movement. He’s like a Buddha, really— calm, patient, and kind. Usually I am scared sh*tless to go on walks by myself especially on busy main streets. It’s anxiety inducing because I have Tourette urges where I want to jump out into traffic or I worry about having tics where I fall and roll all over the floor, scraping my knee pretty badly but working with Peter Lucas has helped me formed a “just do it” mentality, living in the moment and stop forecasting so damn much. So now I go on brisk walks everyday for at least 20 minutes, workout five times a day for at least half an hour, and learning how to meditate and eat right. Even though it hasn’t been 12 weeks yet (the amount of time I am working with Peter) I can vouch that he is compassionate, loving, understanding, knowledgeable, patient, humorous, funny, free-spirited, laid-back and down to earth. Overall an amazing human being. I also appreciate his calmness and tranquility when I lunge at him, toss things at him, or have other tourette symptoms that night be startling and nerve wracking to others. It helps me remain calm and less anxious and to focus on my workout. Thank you Peter at Full Spectrum Performance If you need a personal trainer, I’d recommend him Even though I’m selfish and would like to keep this person, this gem to myself hahaha I’m looking forward to continue this transformation with him.

Brianna is fantastic. I came to her coming off a ankle injury. I was seeking a trainer who could help me recover quickly and help me become a stronger player for my upcoming basketball season. Brianna was the trainer I was searching for. She not only helped me recover and become stronger, but she educated me on new techniques and the importance of an athletes health. Training with her was really fun and she always kept a positive attitude. I strongly recommend Brianna to any kind of athlete or anybody who wants to stay/get in shape.
