I love Leanne's yoga class! She teaches modifications if the moves are beyond your abilities. She makes yoga lots of fun! Leanne's studio offers two exercise rooms for our training sessions, plus several cardio machines. Our personal trainer pushes us in a positive, encouraging way that keeps us motivated. My husband and I have been going regularly to Leanne's studio since January. Unlike most gym memberships, we are getting our money's worth.
I love Chris' yoga class. She provides enough consistency to improve poses, but enough weekly variation to learn new poses and keep it challenging. Her class is the first class after years of doing yoga where I was finally able to do crow pose. I highly recommend Yoga by Chris!
Aside from just an overall amazing yoga instructor who brings her expertise, compassion, humor to each class....she has been invaluable for me as I recover from running injuries/woes. Thanks to Jenny, I am able to run again. More, I have a new love of yoga and what it can do for my body and spirit. If you are in Seattle, find a class with Jenny!!
A great teacher! She connects yoga practice to mindfullness. Very cognizant of the level of ability of her students.
I am new to yoga and Meagan is great. She really made me feel very comfortable with her clear explanation and friendly down to earth nature. Her classes are wonderful, I would highly recommend her to anyone, especially for people new to yoga or wanting to increase strength and flexibility and relaxing.
Barbara is a natural at providing excellence in her profession as a Nutritionist and wellness coach! I have found her to be a positive and compassionate role model. She is a wonderful support in my desire to make positive life style changes to improve my health and wellness. Her knowledge and background in Nutrition and Yoga has been an inspiration to me. I appreciate her focus of working with me "where I am at." I feel supported and encouraged with kindness, humor and nutritional support. Barbara has innate ability to listen without judgement and to provide compassion with my struggles to find a healthy lifestyle with food and my desire to make positive changes. She is professional, responsive and supportive.
Suzanne is a one of a kind yoga teacher that delves deeply into the meaning of what she teaches and believes in. She always has the time and compassion to work with those that desire to understand how yoga can improve their lives. I was a student of hers in Maine for about 4 years. We were all so sorry to lose her to Seattle!!
I decided to ask Pam for private yoga lessons after suffering lower back pain and shoulder tightness which was presumably caused by my 40 hr/week desk job. I am a novice yogi, and Pam took the time to listen to my goals and concerns about my body. Pam communicated in a way that made me feel comfortable and confident that I would achieve these goals for myself, and she made me excited to start practicing more advanced yoga techniques. They have been excellent sessions and I highly recommend!!!
Diane was a wonderful private yoga instructor! She is very knowledgeable and her years of experience definitely show. She is also very nurturing and compassionate and helped me overcome my fear of yoga and vulnerability. I really wanted to improve my mobility and help decrease my lower back pain that I developed through powerlifting. After several sessions with Diane I both physically and mentally felt better. She helped me improve my mobility, increase my flexibility, and significantly reduce my lower back pain. I highly recommend Diane! She is also flexible and helped accommodate my inconsistent schedule. In addition, she came to my house which was very convenient. If you are looking for someone to come to your home and help you with your yoga practice she is a wonderful option!

Personalized, fun, and done with sprinkles of humor! What fun is life if we're always taking ourselves too seriously? All jokes aside though, proper alignment, muscle engagement and breathing are of paramount importance in this yoga practice. I have a strong interest in working with athletes and those who experience limited mobility. I love being able to create a very human connection with someone who is embarking on their own journey of yoga, fitness, or just overall wellbeing. Yoga is powerful tool in working towards an improved quality of life - that's the number one reason I choose to work with people one on one or in small groups. I love how yoga can, with a little patience, serve the purpose you are seeking whether it be spiritual, mental, or physical.

Helping others find peace and stability is what I love about teaching yoga. Not only peace and stability of the body, but of the mind as well.
The following are our mission: * To guide asana practices that relieve physical congestion and heal long-held emotional trauma within the body and to transform the physical body from an instrument of pain to one of vitality * To incorporate pranayama and the breath as powerful tools in harnessing internal prana (energy), calming the mind, providing relaxation, lowering blood pressure, operating on a less reactive level, and yoking the mind and body as one * To honor meditation as a practice that unlocks the door to stress reduction, better moods, and a lighter and more empowered state of being * To serve others by celebrating where they are and support them void of ego and judgment throughout their journey of yoga, contemplation, and discovery
Helping people achieve their fears and goals.
