"My mission is to help my clients regain use of cluttered spaces by working with them to weed out unused, unloved items and reorganize their homes. Sometimes you just need a pair of fresh, creative eyes to redesign a room to work more efficiently and become welcoming again. I'm a natural born organizer and planner, extremely detail oriented, passionate about design; and I enjoy making order out of chaos. I will never make you feel embarrassed by your home nor force you to part with truly precious belongings. My role in the decluttering process is to unburden you and to find ways to simplify your daily routine through smart space planning, comfortable design, and great organizing.
A client writes this about my services:
Becky is an impeccable organizer with a keen sense for project management. She is compassionate, down to earth, and kind. She will meet you where you are in your journey towards a more clear, organized, beautiful home space. If you are seeking someone to work with an elderly relative; if you are making changes to your home during a life transition; if you want someone you don't have to feel ashamed to show where your home is at right now; who will help you discover and make real your best vision for your living environment, I can't suggest her enough.
I believe in reduce, reuse, and recycle. Your unwanted items find homes at various charities and serve people who could really use them. I have also taken pounds of paper to secure shredding, donated electronics, safely disposed of meds and hazardous materials ~ anything to help my clients achieve a more organized, clutter-free life. Growing up in a small house with 5 brothers and sisters, I quickly learned the importance of staying organized. We lived by the old adage...a place for everything and everything in its place. My mom was the queen of organizing and an artful packer, and both of my parents taught me the importance of not only hard work but also quality work. I bring those values and strong work ethic to each project.
Another client states:
Becky is amazing. She right away stepped in and went through rooms that were filled with boxes and boxes of misc. items, hundreds of books, old clothes, and an assortment of various things that had been accumulating for over 20 years. During her time organizing the house, she took our old laptops to be wiped (and watched the processes), bought storage containers and beautiful baskets, took medications to be properly disposed of...and much more. She's done so much more than just organize our house. I am so grateful that I found her.
Gal To The Rescue serves both residential and commercial clients and offers a variety of services not only professional organizing but also move management and project management.
A commercial client writes:
Our company contracted Becky's service to help coordinate and execute a series of office moves and expansions. Not only did Becky succeed in flawlessly pulling off some pretty intricate and sensitive moves, she built and implemented moving processes and procedures we still use today. The attention to detail and level of energy Becky brought with her every day was and still is unmatched. She far exceeded our expectations as she continued to go a step beyond what was asked of her day after day. I would highly recommend Gal to the Rescue!!!!
As a young entrepreneur, I cleaned and organized homes, took care of children and pets, and helped with gardening (especially weeding which I love). Later in life, I was a personal shopper and became passionate about design, fashion and merchandising which led me to NYC and a successful career in retail. I have lived in the South, East Coast and now West Coast and personally moved over 20 times. Most recently, I have put my moving experience and organizing and planning skills to use as a Project and Move Manager for Juno Therapeutics. I'm a small business owner who takes pride in customer service and exceeding my client's expectations. I take great care to ensure my client's needs are fully met. I'm very generous with my time, and you will not find a more dedicated person. I hope to help you on your journey to a more organized, less stressful life.
