It's worthy to share our excellent experience with Essential Mechanical company. We needed to install air conditioning in our house and even though we don't understand too much of HVAC systems, we felt safe as all of our questions were answered clearly and we could feel they didn't try to push unnecessary stuff like other "big companies" in the area. I recently worked with Q & Q Climate Control for the installation of a heat pump in my home in Seattle. After putting out multiple bids, they were the first to respond and offered a competitive price. Their installation window was impressively fast; they came out just a couple of days after I confirmed the bid.
The team did an excellent job installing the heat pump, which I primarily needed for cooling during the summer. They were very communicative throughout the process, ensuring I was informed every step of the way. My central AC install and furnace replacement with Paul was perhaps the best purchase experience I've had (of any kind!). I first reached out to Paul on a Monday, he came out the next day to scope out the location and feasibility of the install, and his guys came out to do the work on the following Wednesday.
Paul was super kind and communicative throughout the whole process. He even went as far as identifying an excellent location for the AC unit that would be completely out of the way from my carport which makes a huge difference in how usable my carport is. This was more expensive and time consuming for him and his team, but he was more than happy to do this for us.
The work was spectacular, the tubing and wiring was done very professionally and looks very clean, and the unit itself looks great and very modern! Super happy with this job, and will be recommending them to anyone else I know that needs HVAC work done.

Full disclaimer: I am updating my original 5-star review of Pacific Coasts Comforts LLC.
Billy and Mike came out to diagnose a long-standing issue I had with my minisplit; primary issue being that the copper lines were sweating and the secondary issue being that the condensate pump was broken. They provided a quote and scope of work, to which I agreed, and they performed the work as stated. The condensate pump they installed worked just fine. However, they were unable to solve my primary issue as the copper lines were sweating again a few days after I ran the unit. I reached out and they agreed to come back out and take a look. Over the next month, I had to follow-up on 3 separate occasions to get a response and a slot on their calendar, until finally they stopped responding completely.
Upon my own investigation, I found that the evaporator coil was freezing/thawing repeatedly, which is a telltale sign that the unit is low on refrigerant and/or there was a refrigerant leak in the line. Pacific Coast Comforts LLC did not even run the unit during their initial diagnosis and therefore failed to adequately implement the proper solution. Initial communication was good, but fell off severely once the job was done. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company for your HVAC needs.
+1 star for providing a free estimate (though it did not solve the primary issue)
