We hired Atmosphere Kitchen & Bath to renovate our kitchen and he took $50k from us, caused massive damage to our house and disappeared from the job site. After many unsuccessful attempts to make him show up and work, we asked him to refund us. He immediately found a lawyer who presented us with a $33k bill with items like "work" and "material", while rejecting any requests for receipts or accounting, and started harassing us with "defamation" threats if we speak out. Deven avoided replying to our questions in text so that he could claim that he didn't commit to anything.

I just have to say, working with Marcin and his team was absolutely fantastic! Let me start by mentioning that I've had plenty of experience using Thumbtack for various projects, but without a doubt, this was the best experience I've ever had.
