FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have the client fill out a questionnaire and we discuss goals, concerns, limitations, health issues, and anything that pertains to what I need to know for the client's benefit. With all the information in mind, I'll put the client through some basic baseline physical assessments for more information. Based on all this information I've compiled to this point, I'll put the client through a simple yet effective workout. The client's response to the workout is taken into consideration for the next appointment so it's essentially another way of gathering data. The more knowledge I accrue, the better I can develop a successful plan for the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
National Personal Training Institute graduate, NASM certified personal trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, certified kettlebell instructor, CPR/AED certified Boston Sports Clubs - 2013-2016 Fitness Together - 2015-2017 Fulfilling Fitness - 2017-1019 Anytime Fitness - 2017-current
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I received personal training schooling at the National Personal Training Institute in Waltham in 2012. Compared to a basic accredited certificate like NASM where all you have to do is pass a multiple choice test (which I also have), NPTI is a 6 month course including 500 hours of practical and educational instruction. I wanted the best personal training education out there. As soon as I finished, I began my career.
